Reunion

Open up! really?

Next day niya woke up and found herself in her room. Then she remembered that she doze off in the hall itself. Her head was little paining
She came out of the room only to find everyone sitting on the sofas in the hall. It was heavily raining.
"Niya, woke up?"
" Yeah. But my head is still paining." She exclaimed. And Raghav forwarded her the tea cup and she sat down. Meghna was sitting beside Kabir.
She drank the tea and got some relief.
" What a time right? I guess we all needed this REUNION. Spending your time quietly with your friends. " Sam said.

"Ohh God. It's raining heavily. "  Niya exclaimed. "So, tu kaun sa bheengne jayegi?" Raghav said and looked at niya. Niya had a mischievous smile on her face. She put the cup on the table.

"Niya. No. Don't you try this " Raghav said almost understanding.

"Niya. " Raghav again shouted and niya ran behind him. " Raghav chal na. " She said.
"It's already cold. Tu marwaegi yar. Yar Kabs, say. " Raghav exclaimed.
"No effect. I'm not gonna listen to him now. You boring persons. ", Niya and said drag Raghav. " Areee we'll not get drenched. We'll just stand outside there. Let's go Rags. " She said and took him.

" These two are terrible." Vihan examined and laughed.
There niya and Raghav went to the varanda and stood there and stretch their hands so that the rain droplets will fall on their hands.

" Niya, it's so long to see you like this." Raghav exclaimed.
" Everything has changed Raghav. " She said looking at the front.
"Nothing changes between friends." He said "and what if friends themselves have changed?" She added looking at Raghav.
Just then Sam said from inside..
"Guysss... we're having a small party tommorrow night and we're going out today evening."
" But it's raining hard Sam. " Niya said.
"Aree...to it's raining now na. We'll go by evening. " Sam exclaimed. Then niya came inside and sat on the sofa.
Raghav placed the fire lantern in the mid of the hall. And settled himself too.

"We all stayed in India only. So we know about our recent happenings. Tu bata niya, england kaisa laga?  Dost Bane?"

Raghav asked.

"Mmm...haan..Bane." niya said little smilingly. She continued..." At first felt little outcast but then get habitual of them. Then after completing course i returned back to India. And i was in Bangalore from past year."

"What? Bangalore? You didn't stay with you family?" Catherine asked.
"No actually. I stayed in Bangalore only " niya replied.
"How's, Nirvan uncle. Still that got head or became cool now?" Vihan asked.
"Fine fine fine. Mom and Dad both are fine. And her super impressive elder daughter too." Niya replied and chuckled.
" Is everything okay between you and siya di? I mean we never saw you both talking quietly. What's happening?" Sam asked.
Niya became silent for some times then said ..." Usually i don't want to share my problems because i don't want to drag you guys along with me. But you all are family right? So .. actually..dad has always wanted me to be engineer..like di. You know. I've been grown up by keeping in my mind that yes..niya..tu engineer banegi. And then when i grew up, then ..things got changed. And i denied doing it. Then they wanted me to pursue some integrated course ..i denied that too and opted for single subject, where i met you all.
4 years ago, after our finals he.. actually both mom and dad both were forcing me to get married. They even send the proposals of groom. Seriously? Could you all imagine? And now too di had called me to say this. That i shouldn't be spending too much time here and quickly met that guys here in Goa..which i clearly denied. Doing engineering, and pursuing integrated course, then staying in India, and no..w this freaking marriage..this all has been fed by my own sister in the minds of my own parents. And dad and mom too get convinced by her..she has always been the impressive one. And i was considered as usuuall..immature..girl with no aim. And di now ..too keep  poking my life. That's why i stayed far from all of them in that one year..and ..leave. it's just.. I'm just fed by pacifying everyone. I've been doing this all my life. Approaching people, there has always been a fear of acceptance by others inside me. I can't handle rejections that's why this fear has developed so much.
I wasn't gonna come here too..but thought you all will be there. " She paused and looked at everyone. And then slightly chuckled and continued..." Though i wasn't expecting Kabs..i mean Kabir. But it's good he came with his fiancee right? It's so good to see you all guys here. 4 dam years later. And now i know it would be worst decision of mine if i would have denied to come here. I'm feeling as if we all have again went back to our childhoods. "

Niya said with a tint of happiness bubbling inside her. Where everyone smiled. They knew there were a lot of things niya wasn't telling. But niya was happy right now.

" Miss. Niya Nirvan..  the most favourite girl always...is really happy now. " Raghav said mimicking her and she laughed.
"Raghav yaar..grow up man " she said. " See who's telling? Don't you think we used to ca you like this?" He said
"Definitely. How can I forget? I've been grown up listening this from every single person's mouth. Niya grow up, niya grow up ...niya mature ho ja and bla bla bla." She said and again laughed.

" Aur ab dekh, kitne bade ho gye sab log. Half of has has found their life partners. Half of us are still wandering like maniacs..like me and you " niya said and Raghav and she burst out laughing.
Niya slapped him so do he. And both just went on laughing.
"Raghav tu Mera sachcha dost hai.  I lovveeee you. ", She said and side hugged him. " Eee bhoomika don't get me wrong..not that wala " she said further and bhoomika just laughed.

" It's okayy. Continue you two ", she said.
" By the way niya, haven't you missed Kabir and me? These years?", Meghna asked.
And niya stopped laughing and looked at her.
"Yeah..yeah. i do na. I missed him badly and when i remembered him you automatically got remembered. So ya." Niya said and smiled.  And Kabir too.

Then they all are their breakfast. And get up to freshen up.
