It was the next day so you and Typhlosion were out waiting for Leon at the train station, unsurprisingly him and Charizard were late. Most likely because of Leon's bad sense of direction and Charizard following along to make sure his trainer doesn't get hurt.
"Y/n! Sorry I'm late! Somehow I got lost in Postwick again! Hello Typhlosion!" Leon laughed
"Typhlo!" Typhlosion exclaimed
Charizard roared and raised his wings to greet the other Fire Type happily before he had came over to say "hello" to me.
"Trust me, we're not gonna get lost! I'm putting all my trust in Charizard!" Leon shared
"We'll see if you stick to that." You stated
Leon gave you an unimpressed look before stepping onto the train that had been there for about a few seconds now.
(\/) In The Wild Area (\/)
The train stopped pretty quickly since the wild area wasn't that far away, Charizard was eager to get out of a train too since it was quite obvious he had no wing space.
"And these Charmander you've spoken about are where?" You asked
"Somewhere around there! Usually where there's no water for them to touch!" Leon exclaimed
Typhlosion walked alongside Charizard attempting not to step in any mud so that they wouldn't get dirty, Typhlosion hates getting dirty.
Charizard roared and a few smaller ones were heard and up the hill came a few Charmander, a shiny Charmander came up too.
"They're adorable!" You exclaimed
You got down on your knees and all of them came to say "hello" to you which was absolutely adorable to you.
Some even surrounded Typhlosion.
"Yeah! Charizard and I met them once when it was about to rain! Since Charizard doesn't need to cover his tail anymore so he offered to cover theirs!" Leon explained
"I swear to god Charmander are adorable." You stated
"Typhlo!" Typhlosion said in offence
"You're are cute too! But you can't disagree that Charmander aren't." You replied
Leon bent down to pat one on the head whilst Charizard flapped his wings happily.
"Scorbun!" A Scorbunny could be heard in the distance
Leon got up and so did you.
"Hello Leon!" A kid shouted
"Ash! Goh! Good to see you again!" Leon answered
"Pika!" A Pikachu called out
The same two kids that you've been seeing in Galar came into your view, you assumed their names were Ash and Goh.
Charizard roared at the Pikachu and Scorbunny whilst Typhlosion just stared in confusion.
"What're you doing here?" Goh asked
"Visiting the Charmander with them!" Leon responded
"Y/n! You've seen me before." You smiled
"Woah! You're the new Motostoke gym leader!" Ash exclaimed
"Typhlo!" Typhlosion said
According to these kids they knew about you, Ash seemed psyched to see both you and Leon rather than Goh. Goh just acted more normal.
"Typhlosion, the Volcano Pokémon. Typhlosion is capable of making anything go up in flames when angered and creating explosions by rubbing its fur together. The heat it generates when ready for battle creates a shimmering haze that can also be used to hide itself. Though it is rare in the wild, it can be found living on." Goh's Rotom phone said
"I've never seen a Typhlosion! They're really cool!" Goh shared
"I've seen a couple, yours is really strong! I plan to battle you someday!" Ash grinned
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu agreed
"For the world coronation series?" Leon asked
"Nope! Just for a gym badge! Since they're a new gym leader replacing Kabu I want to challenge them at their gym!" Ash answered
"I look forward to it, I haven't battled much Electric Types since most come at me with trained Water Types." You shrugged
"Yeah! You're pretty good against Water Types!" Goh complimented
"I have to agree with that! Although I haven't seen you and Nessa battle." Leon pointed out
"That's true! Nessa hasn't challenged me in any way so I guess we don't know the outcome yet!" You stated
Nessa was a strong water type trainer and she was also a good model, Nessa was someone anyone could look up to.
"What are you two doing in the wild area and not in Kanto?" Leon asked
"We're here for Professor Cerise! He said we need to document the Pokémon over here along with the ones we've seen Gigantamax!" Ash informed
The Charmander roared and went over to greet both Scorbunny and Pikachu, Charizard made sure not to step on any that ran past him.
"We're going back to Kanto tomorrow, right Ash?" Goh emphasized the "Right Ash?"
"Uh- yeah! We're going right back to Kanto tomorrow!" Ash answered
"And we're going to go get some food now." Goh added
"Awh man... bye Leon! Bye Y/n!" Ash shouted
The two ran off towards the end of the wild area followed by their Pokémon who quickly said goodbye to Typhlosion and Charizard along with the Charmander.
"I can tell that Ash kid wants to best you." You commented
"I kind of hope he does if I'm honest." Leon whispered
Leon had been the champion for a decade or two now and you could obviously tell he was getting a little tired of the fame it brought him.
"Shouldn't we get going too before it's dark?" You questioned
"Probably, lead the way Charizard!" Leon exclaimed
"I can't believe you're finally letting Charizard lead the way, last time you got lost in the wild area because of yourself." You stated
Charizard began running left and Typhlosion followed quickly, the Charmander began walking back down the hill. Most likely in search of food or shelter.
Charizard roared after a while of running, the train station was right there.
"Great!" Leon said
"And surprising." You added
"Typhlo!" Typhlo called
Charizard stepped onto the train and so did Typhlosion before both you and Leon did the same, Leon might've accidentally lost his balance when getting on but you caught him.
Just then the sun started to go down meaning most Pokémon in the wild area would either wake up or fall asleep, nocturnal Pokémon were quite common in the wild area due to the forests and trees they were able to sleep in.
Pokémon like Snorlax didn't really care, most went there as Munchlax to find food but just became Snorlax right after instead.
You had found your Talonflame as a Fletchlinder there, he had been flying around for hours and just decided to take a nap on top of you.
