Chris and Aurora had both left Boston on the same day, Chris left to Atlanta while Aurora left to Japan. Aurora had about a month and half left until her tour was over. Chris still had two months left of filming for Avengers: Endgame. The past month went great for the both of them. Chris tried to be as attentive as he could with Aurora, doing anything he could to make her pregnancy as easy as he could. He knew they weren't together but he still wanted to make sure she was taken care of. He was a little sad that he would be missing two months of her pregnancy but she agreed to call him everyday so she could update him on how she was feeling and on how Jasmine was doing. He was also comforted that her mom was going to be with her for the rest of the tour and she assured him that she'd let him know if anything happened.
Neither of them had again mentioned that moment after Chris walked in on Aurora. They both acted as if nothing happened and Aurora of course didn't ever go to him for help. Even though he made her feel amazing, she was embarrassed by the situation. They weren't a couple and she didn't want to be one just because they were having a baby together. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him, he was obviously gorgeous, but she really didn't let it get past that. She didn't want to get lost in his kindness towards her. She had to remind herself that he was only doing all that because she was pregnant. He never expressed any type of feelings towards her so she wasn't even gong to allow her mind to go there.
It was Chris' first day back on set. He hadn't really talked to his friends much since they wrapped Avengers: Infinity War. He had been busy with Aurora and getting everything ready for the baby's arrival. After telling them that he was going to be a dad, a few of them had reached out to congratulate him and offer their help. He was really excited to see them and talk about Jasmine. He had yet to tell them her name or gender and he had also brought Aurora's latest sonogram to show them.
"Chris my man!"
Chris turned around to see Anthony and Sebastian walking towards him. "Hey guys!" He greeted each of them with a hug. "How've you guys been?"
"I've been good. But how about you man? I mean a baby! You're gonna be a dad!" Sebastian said excitedly.
"I'm still so in shock that Aurora is your baby mama," Anthony chuckled.
"I know. It's pretty crazy."
"How is she by the way?"
"She's good. Baby is good too," he smiled.
"Did I hear baby?" Robert shouted.
Chris smiled when he saw Robert and Scarlett approaching them. They all took some time to greet each other before going back into their conversation.
"How is the baby?" Scarlett asked.
"Really good," he smiled. "I actually brought Aurora's latest sonogram. Do you guys want to see?"
There was a chorus of yes's as Chris went through his backpack to get it. He smiled brightly when he looked at the picture before handing it over to his friends.
"Oh wow this is amazing," Sebastian said.
"Do you guys know the gender yet?"
"Yeah we found out like a month ago." He looked around to all their awaiting faces and chuckled at how excited they looked. "We're having a girl."
"Oh my god!" Scarlett squealed. "This is so exciting!"
"Wow congrats buddy," Robert said.
"You guys wanna know her name?"
"You guys came up with a name already?" Anthony asked shocked.
"Yeah. We came up with it pretty quickly and we both picked it. Since we're both named after Disney characters we decided to choose a Disney related name. We both said the exact same one at the same time. Her name is Jasmine."
"I love that!"
"Wow that's perfect."
Chris told them a little bit more about the baby and even invited them to the baby shower that Aurora's mom was planning.
"So what's going on with you and Aurora?" Anthony asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you guys together?" Sebastian clarified.
"No we're just friends."
"So nothing happened the past month you guys were together?" Scarlett asked.
"I didn't say that," Chris chuckled. "But it was just one time. Nothing happened after that."
"Well do you want anything more to happen?" Robert asked.
Chris hesitated. He hadn't really thought about it since Aurora told him she was pregnant. He knew their life would be so much easier if they were together but he also knew that he didn't want to be with her just for that reason. But he thought back to the month he spent with her and it was great. They really did take the time to get to know each other and really become friends. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her, she was obviously gorgeous, but he really didn't let it get past that. He didn't want to get lost in the fact that she was carrying his child. She never expressed any type of feelings towards him so he wasn't even gong to allow his mind to go there.
"I don't know. Right now, I just want to focus on Jasmine. We're going to be spending a lot of time together once I'm done filming here so I mean who knows. I'm definitely not going to close those doors right now but I'm also not going to do anything about it right now."
"Wow that's very mature of you," Scarlett teased.
"Well I'm going to be a dad soon so I guess I had to mature at some point," Chris joked.
