Meera wasn't sure if she wanted Taehyung to be there when she packed. It was going to be a tedious task, sorting through the entire house and deciding what she wanted to take, throw away or keep at the house. There simply wasn't time to take care of everything so she was packing only for a few months.

She hadn't really discussed it with Taehyung, but she was hoping to come back after a couple of months to finalize what happened to the house and a couple of properties her parents had left for her. For now, she had to actually pack the entire house into either her suitcases or boxes, cancel subscriptions for various things, sort out her bills and other paperwork. It was going to be a great week.

She was going to be running here and there, going places to run errands and she wasn't sure if she should drag Taehyung along. He was barely getting better and she wanted him to rest. But he also wasn't going to be able to stay without her for more than 4 hours without starting to feel sick.

She sat up staring at the wall when she got up that morning. Taehyung was cuddling her waist, taking up more than half of the bed as was his habit and she didn't have the heart to wake him up even though she was getting late. How could she, when he looked so cute, lips pouting and his eyes half open? His managers and members must have a hard time waking him up, she mused as she lightly touched his tousled hair. Or maybe they had grown immune to his cuteness. She resumed spacing out, staring at the wall as she thought about everything she had to do. It was this sight that greeted Taehyung when he woke up.

"Good morning, what's wrong?" He asked as he sat up and blinked at her. The sight of a puffy, pouty Taehyung with messy hair and sleepy eyes was so adorable, it threw Meera off-guard for a moment.

"Meera?" She snapped out of her staring when he nudged her.

"No, nothing. I.. have to go home today. Too much to do. Will you be alright while I am gone? I will be back at lunch."

Taehyung frowned at her.

"Why do you think you are going alone? I'll come with you."

"There's no need, Taehyung. It's gonna be really boring. I have to go to the bank, then a couple of government offices. Everything works really slowly here, you're gonna have to sit in the car and wait for a long time."

"So what? I'll get to see at least some of the city. Sitting here is more boring than going outside and sitting in the car. I'll come with you. Come on, let's go." Taehyung said in a tone that made it clear that this was his final decision and he wasn't gonna argue anymore.

Packing an entire house wasn't an easy feat, Meera realised as she stood in her living room, looked around her home and took stock of things she was going to have to do. It was only now she was realising that her house was kinda big, at least for a single person anyway. It hadn't been that way always though.

Just two years ago, her home had 3 more people living in it with enough chaos to drive a sane person crazy. Her father's news channels, her brother's whines and screams as he played video games, the incessant chatter of her mother along with the delicious sizzle of food she always seemed to be making. That home contained so many memories Meera was going to leave behind. Her eyes watered with the tears she had tried hard not to let out ever since she had fully grasped what moving countries meant. But there was only so much emotion she could suppress without breaking. A tear rolled down as she gazed at the dining table where her mom and dad had fed her countless meals, her brother had fought with her for the last piece of pizza which he ended up giving to her anyways and she had sat with Avni during rougher days of her pregnancy.
