Meera ended up taking a stroll across the beach herself. She was afraid of going into the water, but watching Taehyung and Seokjin have fun with the jet skis, she decided she wanted to have a go and booked herself a ride too.

It was exhilarating, surfing on the waves at breakneck speeds. The wind whipping into her hair was sure to leave a hell of knots, but she didn't care. Taehyung watched her carefully when he realized she was in the water with a jet ski. He had become so attuned to her, wanting to make sure she was safe all the time.

"You need to film some content too. Stop getting distracted." He heard his cameraman instruct through his earpiece and gritted his teeth. 

Sighing, he put his filming face on and acted out his part, giving them enough cute footage to work with. Once he was done, he waited by the beach for Meera, declining Seokjin hyung's offer of going diving under the pretext of not wanting to get his clothes wet and having to wash them again. 

As soon as Meera came back from her own jet ski ride, he gave her look. He badly wanted to grab her himself, take her to the crew member's car and secure her into it with a seatbelt. Knowing he couldn't even stare at her for more than 2 seconds in public, let alone touch her, he subtly motioned her to follow him and started walking towards the parking. Meera followed him, knowing she had upset him somehow. He got into the car meant for crew members and Meera followed him in.

She was nervous as she looked around to make sure no one was watching or filming them. The windows were tinted, but technology had advanced a lot these days.

"Taehyung, we shouldn't be alone together. It'll raise suspicion." She had purposefully chosen to sit in the front and pretended hard to appear like she was working on something and not talking to the world-famous idol sitting behind her.

"No one's around and the windows are tinted. What were you doing Meera? Why can't you just listen to me and take a rest? You have just recovered from the flu and you still went in the water. In seawater. Do you realize how unhygienic that water is? Hundreds of people swim in it every day. What if you get sick again? Are you out of your mind?"

Meera sucked in a breath. Taehyung hadn't raised his voice, but his words and his tone were harsh. He was angry. Meera had been scolded like this before, most of the time for her carelessness. But she had never felt as hurt as she was feeling right now. She didn't even understand why her eyes were suddenly watering.

"I... I am sorry. I know I have been irresponsible. Shit... I just... I wasn't thinking. I just saw you have fun on that and I.."

"And you what Meera? This isn't a vacation. We are here for work. Please, just take care of yourself and try to stay healthy. I can't concentrate on work if I have to constantly worry about you being sick. Can you do that?"

Meera was now glad she had chosen to sit in the front seat as tears rolled down her cheek completely out of control. She was thankful for the fact that Taehyung was unable to see her crying like a stupid, idiot fool. She took a deep breath as she sneakily tried to wipe her tears.

"I.." Her voice broke, but she swallowed the lump in her throat and continued, "I am sorry. I know I was careless. I.. I'll make sure that I won't be holding you back from your work. I..it's just..I got carried away.. There's no excuse for my behaviour. I'll be careful hereon." She stuttered out the apology, feeling a lot worse and guilty.

Taehyung frowned. He was simply worried about her health and her surfing in the waters that contained a shit ton of who-knew-what bacteria had freaked him out. The virus that had caused the recent pandemic had barely released the world out of its clutches. He was scared for her health and he had scolded in the moment of frustration the worry had caused him. He hadn't intended to go off on her like this.
