"Taehyung-ah, look it's the red moon." Jimin was really excited to show him the moon and Taehyung plastered an awwed and impressed look on his face as he stood at the railing, overlooking the ocean and the night sky.

The waves crashed against the shore before retreating and coming back in full force as if determined to get out of the ocean containing them. It reminded Taehyung of some saying he had heard. That the ocean and the moon were in love, destined to be close to each other but never meet. He could relate to it so hard at that moment. The silent beauty of the ocean reminded him of Meera again.

She was just like the ocean, beautiful, fierce and endlessly kind. Always giving and giving, storing a vast amount of love in her heart without expecting anything in return. He tried to swallow the lump in his throat but it only made his eyes wet. A drop of tear fell down his cheeks involuntarily and he suddenly couldn't breathe. He had to get away from the cameras.

Jimin and Jungkook were busy admiring the moon and trying to click pictures. Other members had either retired to their rooms or were doing their own thing somewhere in the house. The entire crew was busy eating so he was sure no one would notice if he sneaked away. He walked to the other end of the camping site, it was really dark in that area. He had no strength to search for some isolated place and knew this was the best he could get. It was out of sight from everyone.

He fell into a chair and finally allowed himself to break down. All his frustrations, all of the misery, the guilt that had been building for months, the overwhelming feelings he had for Meera and the realization that she didn't even want him in her life. He sobbed and tried his best to muffle the sounds.

"Taehyung-shi? Are you okay?" A crew member sent to fetch something from the cars parked nearby had spotted the distraught boy on his way back.

Taehyung quickly tried to wipe his tears and croaked out "I am fine." at the crew member before curtly motioning him to leave him alone. The crew member paused, torn between concern and minding his own business. Finally, he made a decision and walked away from Taehyung.

Jimin wasn't aware that his best friend had suddenly disappeared somewhere, lost in the beauty of the beautiful scenery in front of him. It was rare that he got to enjoy such peace and serenity in his hectic life. So he was shocked and really concerned when a crew member came up to him and informed him about Taehyung sitting in a dark corner and crying. He rushed to his best friend, Hobi hyung having heard the entire thing and followed him.

"Taehyung-ah? Are you alright? Wae- What's wrong?" Jimin kneeled in front of Taehyung and looked into the distressed face of his brother.

"Taehyungie? What's the matter? Tell me what has happened?" Hoseok hyung was right behind Jimin, leaning down to have a better look at his baby brother's face.

Taehyung resisted at first, not knowing how to share what was tearing his heart apart.

The gentle coaxing from both Jimin and Hoseok finally made him relent and he confessed what had been going on for last few months. How he had fallen in love with his soulmate and how he had felt guilty whenever she was inconvenienced even a little because of him, how stressed he had been to watch her struggle every single day and how his life as an idol made hers difficult to live normally. And now she didn't even want him, she regretted him being in her life.

"Yaah, Taehyungie, aren't you assuming too much here? I don't think Meera regrets you being her soulmate, I think it's... actually opposite of what you are thinking."

"But hyung, she actually said to her friend, that she wished she hadn't met me. Those were her exact words and she was complaining about how hectic her life was, how she wanted to go to India and couldn't because of my schedule. It's clear hyung.. she deserves better, someone who would give her a normal life, someone who would have time to spend it with her."
