The Ice Emperor and Empress

Into the Never Realm

"Look out!" Lloyd yelled. 

He was gone forever. 

"Zane!" Nya cried. 

"Zane!" Cole cried. 

I ran over to where he was last. 

Memories of him ran through my head. 

He was in my arms and I couldn't help him. I let go of him.

"Zane!" I cried with tears streaming down my cheeks. 

I panted. 

Everyone came into my room and looked at me panting. I held onto the picture of Zane and I in front of a tree. We were so happy until…

"P.I.X.A.L? Are you ok?" Nya asked, rubbing my back. 

"I am fine. I was dreaming about the moment he…he," I stammered. 

"It's okay. I know,"Nya said, comforting me. 

"I find it difficult to accept that he is gone," I said.

"Me too," Lloyd sighs. 

"We all do. It doesn't feel real," Jay said. 

"Zane’s alive!" Wu said, running into my room. 

"What!" 

"Where?!" 

"How!" 

"Quiet, all of you. Listen. I spoke to Aspheera at Kryptarium Prison. She didn't destroy Zane. She banished him to a distant realm," Wu said. 

"Well, what are we waiting for? We gotta go after him!" Kai said. 

"Yeah, what realm?" Lloyd asked. 

"The Never-Realm," Wu said with suspense. 

"Huh?" 

"What?!" 

"I never heard of it," Cole said. 

"There are a few who have," Wu said, running out of my room. 

We all followed him and I heard Lloyd questioning him. 

"What's the Never-Realm?" Lloyd asked. 

"According to legend, it is the most remote of all realms. My father only spoke of it to me once.." Wu stopped running and everyone bumped into each other, but me. 

Wu starts running again and so does everybody else.

"In warning," Wu continues,"He told me of all the realms of creation, it was the one I should never visit. He told me it was a cold and dangerous place. He forbade it." 

"Um,'forbade,' as in absolutely never ever?" Jay asked, catching up to Wu. 

He stopped and Kai asked from behind him,"Why?" 

And then Cole comes to his other side and says,"Yeah, what is wrong with it?" 

"I don't know. He went there only once, and said he nearly couldn't find his way home. He said it was unlike the other realms. He warned me that others would not be as fortunate," Wu said, walking into his meditation room. 

"Well, that's just great. Creepy and vague," Jay said as everyone entered the room. 

Wu went to his staffs that are hung on the wall. 

"I will use Aspheera's staff to find Zane. It banished him there. It will work for me, too. Once I have found him, I will use the Traveller's Tea to bring us both home," Wu said.

"You mean all seven of us. Because we're going with you," Lloyd said. 

"Yeah!" Cole said, agreeing with Lloyd.
