Blinded love

Kagaya was getting ready for bed from the help from his daughters. Kagaya didn't look like the same gentle and happy guy that he usually was, even the daughters could sense that.

Kagaya's eyes grew lighter, The bags under his eyes were darker, The gentle smile on his face was small and faint, Y/n's "death" must of really hurt him.

When the daughters took Kagaya to his room, but only one of them left once Kagaya was in his bed. The one that stayed was Kanata the youngest out of the daughters. Kagaya sensed his and turned to the door."Who's here?"Kagaya asked.

"Kanata, Master" Kanata said with the same smile on her face. Kagaya was a little surprised how the daughter stayed in her spot with no sudden order from him.

"Kanata?" Kagaya questioned. Kanata stood there keeping her smile as she waiting for permission to ask her questions."What do you need child?"Kagaya asked as he tried smiling,but it only lasted a second.

"Are you alright?"Kanata asked straight forward. Kagaya's eyes widened a bit from the question. None of the daughters dared to ask the master any personal. For some reason that made Kagaya feel a little better. This time Kagaya's small smile stayed."Yes..I'm just..Trying to get over it" Kagaya said looking down.

"Though..I'm curious, What made you ask that question " Kagaya asked looking back at Kanata's direction. This time Kanata stayed silent.

"Y/n, taught me" Kanata said.

Kanata was helping around the mansion doing chores outside. As Kanata was doing so, She turned her head to see Y/n training with a dummy.

She couldn't help but continue watching as Y/n turned the dummy into ashes."Whoops.."Y/n said as he stared at the ashes. "Haha..well Obani is going to kill me" Y/n said.

The boy soon turned around and saw Kanata, which seemed to snap her out of her gaze."Ah,Kanata! Hi"Y/n said waving his hand. Kanata kept her smile and bowed to the male. "Eh..it's probably better if we kept the dummy thing between us" Y/n said nervously. "As you wish" Kanata said.

Y/n was a little confused at the strange behavior."Haha no need to be so formal, aren't you still a bit young.." Y/n asked. "Me and my sisters came from a very intelligent family, so it shouldn't be surprising to others" Kanata said.'But your three..' Y/n thought. 'I guess Kagaya could easily tell which child would be the smartest choice' Y/n thought.

"Hm,Well before you go let's try something alright?"Y/n said. Kanata nodded and Y/n signaled her to come to him. Kanata obeyed and was now standing in front of Y/n.

"First things first, a question. If the Master ever looked upset or confused what would you do?"Y/n asked."Nothing,it's the Masters business and I would be speaking out of line " Kanata said.

Y/n kind of laughed a little bit."Apologize but you make it sound as if the master is some bad guy" Y/n said."No,of course he's not " Kanata said."Do this for me, If I ever go away..I want you to comfort the Master,no orders,no demands. Just you and your words" Y/n said with a smile.

Kanata was surprised at the demand."You want me..to comfort the Master?" Kanata said unsure about the idea."Of course! Can you promise me that?"Y/n asked. Kanata nodded and Y/n smiled bigger.

"Thanks Kanata! Alright,I won't bother you anymore. Apologies if I was interrupting your work" Y/n said. Kanata nodded and bowed once again before leaving the boy to his training.

'Very intelligent at three years old?! How strange' Y/n thought.
