ARTEMIS followed the others into a hangar full of speeder bikes. Everyone was on high alert, ready to shoot down any stormtrooper that might come their way, but it seemed to be deserted.

Moving through the hangar, they opened another door that leaded to the command center where an Imperial security officer tried to contact shuttle bay. He didn't seem to realize he had company.

"Shuttle bay, the security feed just went down. Can you check your relay hub? Shuttle bay? Shuttle bay, this is—"

Cara ambushed him and started chocking him. Din and Artemis moved past her and switched off the camera feeds while Greef kneeled down to take the code cylinder from the officer's body.

"This will come in handy," Greef said, showing them the cylinder.

"I found the heat shaft," Din said. "Let's go."

The five of them ventured deeper into the base. Artemis followed Din, her hands on the vest of her lightsabers.

"The access corridor should be just past this junction," Din said, before they took a right. Din suddenly stopped and peered around the corner. Artemis ducked underneath his arm and saw two stromtroopers patrolling.

"Must've blown a transformer over here," one of them said.

"All right. We'll check it out," the other one replied.

"Section-Four? TK-1-4-7."

"Scan control has been unreliable since last rotation. Send a technical crew to check it out."

As the stormtroopers walked away, Artemis and the others crossed the hallway and towards the door.

"There, Mythrol, slice that door," Din commanded.

"Use the code cylinder," Greef said, handing it to him.

The door slid open, leading them into the base's reactor which is fueled by a lava seam below. Artemis peered over the edge and was soon joined by the others.

"Whoa!" the Mythrol exclaimed.

"Yeah, 'whoa' is right," Greef agreed, before looking up and seeing the controls. "That's it." They all looked up. "Get on the reactor controls, drain the coolant lines. We'll watch the door." He looked at the Mythrol.

"Me?" the Mythrol said, pointing at himself.

"Yes, you!"

"I'm afraid o' height. And heat. And lava," the Mythrol stammered.
