The flight back from Paris to Atlanta was calm. Nick and Asia were still on a natural high from their engagement. The girls gathered around Asia to talk about wedding plans while Lingo and Heaven battled each other in a game of Spades. Nick, Offset, and Quavo huddled in tight at the back of the plane to talk business.
"Aye, when we get back to Atlanta we gotta meet wit Pee and get tha fuck off QC." Nick said in a low tone.
"Y'all got y'all's lawyers set up right?" Offset asked.
"Hell yeah." Quavo answered.
"Got mine on fuckin' speed dial." Nick responded.
"Aight, so we gotta be on tha same page when we go up in there. Don't mention shit about that fuck ass nigga Winston, and don't let on that we know about how Pee be movin'. Jus keep it strictly business, don't show no emotion." Offset coached.
"Bet." Quavo agreed.
"I can fuck wit it." Nick said.
"But, what you think Pee gon do once we say we wanna be off the label? You know that nigga ain't jus gon let us leave smooth." Quavo asked.
"Just be ready for whatever." Offset warned.
"Fuck dat nigga! We can jus start our own label." Nick proposed. Offset and Quavo sat silently for a few minutes, taking Nick's business proposal into serious consideration. Finally, Offset responded, "You right Take. You real right."
Quavo shook his head skeptically.
"How much money we need to start a label? Do we even got the know how? We need to just find a new label to rock wit." Quavo complained.
"Unc, I got tha knowledge, don't doubt us." Nick said firmly. Quavo quietly stared out the plane window, pondering their decision to branch out on their own.Exhausted from the trip, Nick and Asia headed to the penthouse. They dumped their luggage by the entryway and greeted Domingo and Zeekie who had been watching Rocket while they were gone.
"Ah shit, there they go! Ol' bride and groom head ass niggas." Domingo lovingly joked as they walked into the living room. Nick laughed and embraced him with a strong hug.
"Aye fam, I'm proud of y'all bruh. Asia, you bouta be tha 4th Migo now, get ready to get up in tha booth lil sis." Zeekie joined in on the banter.
"Thanks guys." Asia laughed shyly.
"I love y'all niggas, for life and after." Nick said. "Thanks for takin care of my lil man too. I hope his lil ass wasn't too bad?"
"It's all good." Domingo smiled.
Asia scooped Rocket into her arms and headed upstairs while Nick caught up with the guys.
"Aye, I needa chop it up wit y'all real quick." Nick spoke in a serious tone while lighting up a blunt. "Me and the boys bouta get the fuck on out from under QC." He revealed.
They raised their eyebrows in surprise.
"We gonna start our own label, and I want y'all to be apart of it." Nick stated.
"Hell yeah, you know we ridin wit cha big Take!" Domingo said as he gave Nick a firm handshake.
"You already fuckin' know what it is bruh." Zeekie declared.
"But, what happened over there doe?" Domingo questioned.
"Mane, Pee been running us in the ground and ain't giving us what we worth in return. That nigga act like a fat ass overseer and I ain't on nobody gaht damn plantation. Ya feel me?" Nick explained.
"Fo' sho'. I feel you Take." Domingo agreed.
"Shit ain't gon be easy, but it'll be worth it. Let's get it!" Nick wrapped his arm around his friend and smiled.
