At the Great Plains motel, there was Sam Winchester laying in bed. Trying to sleep with no one beside him. His eyes remained shut, then he opened his eyes as he sighed deeply. He inhaled as he rolled over to his left. Shockingly, he sat up to see Karina Leone smiling. "Hey, stranger."

Sam stared at her beauty, seeing her dressed in her usual clothing along with her braided ponytail. When he first saw her on the street. "I missed you..."

"Karina? You're not supposed to be here, I'm dreaming."

She shrugged her shoulders, "Dream or not, you know I will always be here with you."

Sam sighed lovingly as he stared into her eyes. Admiring her inside and out while her eyes sparked at him, "I miss you so much."

"I know..." Karina reached his hand, collating into a hold. Sam looked down, embracing the touch between them. "I miss you too. What are you doing, Sam?"

He looked at her eyes filled with worries, "What do you mean?"

"Running away. Remember the last time it wasn't successful?"

"No. It's different now."

"Really?"

"Last time I wanted to be normal. This time..." He looked down as he spoke more, "I know I'm a freak."

"Which is all a big ball of semantics. You know that."

"No."

She leaned closer to him, "Even at Stanford, you knew... You knew there was darkness inside of you. Deep down, maybe, but you knew. Even when we first met. That's what got Jessica killed."

Sam looked at Karina, startled. "No."

"She was dead from the moment you two said hello."

"No."

"It's the truth. You hurt people, even me. You can't run from yourself, it's a part of you. Why running away?"

"Why are you here, Karina?"

She looked down then she returned her eyes to him, "Would you believe I'm actually trying to protect you?"

"From what?"

"You. In the future, the past will be catching you like it always does. I'm dangerous, too. That's why I tried to run away from my past, but it doesn't work. You know what happens next?" Sam looked down, knowing what was coming. "People die... Sammy, the people closest to you die."

"Well, don't worry, because I won't make that mistake again."

"Same song, different verse. Things are never gonna change with you. Ever." Sam slowly nodded, then he looked down. Karina stared deeply at Sam, then he raised his head with a tear shed. She disappeared into existence.

"Yeah."

Dean Winchester received the news from Karina Leone about what happened last night. They were sitting at a diner table, dressed up for the case. They needed breakfast before moving on to the case.

Dean repeated, "Wow."

Karina sighed a little, "Yeah." Dean opened his mouth again before Karina responded. "I will keep saying yeah."

"So... you're the vessel to the Lioness of God?" Karina nodded slightly, "You're practically a God."

"Not really. Here." Karina reached for her bag, pulled out the papers, books, and bible with book tabs, and set them on the table. "I did some research."
