in other words more rain lore, but this time im actually gonna explain myself okay so basically everything (except last chapter) u have seen of rain focuses on his PAST his backstory when the ACTUAL story starts he is in the palace

this era is basically his life before and during the WAR (ya this gets more complicated) this is the era he remembers but he doesn't remember most of it, only these ppl plus his mother, he doesn't remember their names, the name of where they lived, etc he's slowly gaining more memories and he's beginning to realise stuff but at the start of the story he has minimal memory but he's trying to get more back he has a love interest from this time
but in the present he gets a memory thru this spell (don't ask) that shows his kingdom fucking collapsing and he realises that he didn't FAIL his kingdom bc they were tryna destroy the rest of the world but someone destroyed them first
and then he turns around to see the person he knows he used to love get impaled, and that's the only person that present rain feels a connection to because they used to be close and it's all dramatic and stuff it's way sadder in reality im just not good at describing it
i might keep the love interest a secret for now because 1. it's sadder if u don't kno WHOS dying, and 2. this is not his only love interest LMFAO
technically he has 2 just from diff times and when hw was in love w the first he hadn't met the second and when he was in love w the second he had no memory of the first
yes he gets his memories wiped twice for different reasons i give him an insane amount of trauma it's not funny anymore
im gonna be revealing a lot more abt him but the main thing ur not meant 2 know is how he gets from each place to place and why etc etc

there's rain! :) this is after the war, and that's keveah ! again this is also in the past but no where near as far, keveah is the brunette obvs rain atp does not remember the war at all, or being in it, and as the last remaining member of his species he also does not know what he is or where he came from he just remembers waking up on earth (yea now theyre on earth) and meeting keveah and fizz (the next character)
