"Fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen...."

"Thirteen."

"Fourteen, fifteenㅡ" she stopped, eyes narrowing as she looked behind her with a glare, "I swear to Il Illah, Wahid."

The older male grins as he took a large bite off of the turkey leg he's holding for quite some time now. "Looking a lil bit busy right there Ms.Tactician."

She exhaled through her nose in annoyance before dropping the freshly washed linens back on their basket, "Well If it weren't for you meddling then and there, I would be finished by now... I still have some works to do you know." She grumbled under her breathe, before sitting down on a grassy patch.

The male simply hummed in thought,
"Didn't Ugo told you to rest more?" He inquired, leaning against a pillar.

"That was a like a week ago, Wahid. I am fine now."

"No doubt." He grinned,

She sends him a warning glare, "If I am in the mood right now, I'll snatch that turkey leg before you could even nibble the cartilage off."

Wahid gasps dramatically, as he practically hid the fowl away from her prying gaze, "Not the cartilage!"

She snorts, before standing up, dusting her bottom before gesturing at the clean pile of laundry infront of her.

"Help me here, will you?"

The male grumbled under his breathe but he obeyed eitherway, he put the whole turkey leg inside his mouth as he dust the residue off of his fingers using his shirt. He look up smugly, as if that alone was enough for her to allow him to touch the clean sheets.

"No. Wash your hands."

He rolled his eyes but proceeds to do as he was told.

She sighs as he watch the large man sauntered off halfheartedly, she shakes her head in disbelief. Sometimes she really can't believe that stupid excuse of a grown man was older than her. But then again, compared to the other male in the resistance, he was the most protective of them all, almost like a brother figure she never had. Well It wasn't as if she had any to begin with.

"Done?"

Wahid came back, the turkey leg was now nowhere to be seen, figures he had ate it before going back, the male grins before showing both his hands, now free of any grease and turkey residue.

"Bring it on!"

It was really quiet when most of the resistance members were out for a mission, she only had Wahid, Ugo and Setta to accompany her today. Not that these three were of any help. Ugo as concerned as he was to her condition, has put himself back in his usual habitat: his laboratory. He will only come out once in a blue moon, may it be to get some much needed whiff of fresh air or to get a small ray of sunshine on his pale skin. In other words, he isn't around much. Setta on the other hand was busy doing some research back in his own quarters, he does that for some time, but it wasn't often. In other words those two glasses-wearing men are nowhere to be seen.

The only member who can not stand indoors was someone she couldn't stand with either.

She glared at him from across her spot. The menacing gaze was enough to melt an iceberg alone. The huge man felt this, wincing as he scrub at the sheets faster as if the stains will magically come off almost instantly if he did.

"Looking a lil bit busy right there Mr. Gluttony." She said in a smug manner, the grown man simply glared in response as if to refute at the familiar comeback.

It just turns out Wahid isn't really cut out for house chore either. To think he'd trip, and fell to his demise due to some innocent sheets was the laugh of the century.

"You better get those mud stain off of Ithnan's bedsheets." She warned,

"These were Ithnan's?!"

"You look like you had it tough today, aru?~" Falan worriedly questioned as she carefully pat a warm towel on her lover's forehead, the male almost melts at her touch.

The tactician snorted lightly, which was never left unnoticed by the older male.

Wahid glared at her from across the table where the resistance just finished eating their fill. The tactician simply grinned, sipping her tea ever so casually. She had worked him to the bone that afternoon, by letting him scrub all the soiled linens he tripped over. (it was mostly his fault anyway~)

She'd guess he'll never choose to stay back when mission arises and he wasn't needed, hell he'd probably agree to carry Ithnan's bags just to have a reason to come along.

She snickered silently at the thought.

A pair of blue eyes was seen observing her from the safety of his open book, there's a small downward curve etched along his lips as he eyed the situation in front of him.

How is that she can act as usual with the other members, and not to him? Was he doing something wrong? Did he did something wrong?

It irks him.

It annoys him to the fullest.

What did he ever do to you?

"Being a pathetic piece of useless meat." The tactician stabbed the poor uncooked meat plated ungraciously on the porcelain plate.

"That is what it's good for. Ya see?" She showed Ugo the stabbed meat on her fork, the insides was obviously raw, terribly raw.

Ugo made a face, but before he could dramatically put an act of throwing up, she threw the meat out the window, "That's good as gone. Let's start again~" she hyped up,

"I swear to Il Illah, (Name)... we're going nowhere....maybe you should reconsider and just accompany us with our missionsㅡ"

"No is a no, Ugo." She bent down to retrieve some fresh crops from the cabinet,

"But for practicality, you're best fit to cook forㅡ"

"I am a tactician for a reason. I am not a chef, and it wasn't as if you lot can't survive with packed foods on the go." She reasoned out again, as she busied herself on washing the raw ingredients once more. Ugo simply watched, seemingly in deep thought.

"Alrightyyyy, let's start with cutting these vegetables!" She rolled up her sleeves, before grabbing one of the fresh radish from the basin.

"(Name)... you know, I've been noticing it recently.. and well..."

She swiftly cuts through the radish thinly with ease, humming as she did so.

"I want to stay silent about it. But... uhmm.." Ugo continued on, as he watch her chop away,

"Is there something going on between you and Solomon?"

*chop!*

"Ah."

Ugo shrieked,
"YOU'RE BLEEDING!"
