The Moon

You reminded me of the moon ,
Once you left ,
You came wondering back so soon ,
As if you never left ,
Leaving me listening to an unfamiliar tune,
Humming as if it was neglect,
Yet there was no affect ,
For i was in depth ,
From your disrespect

Yet unlike the moon ,
I never left .

The moon can never be the sun ,
Once that was clear to see ,
I was done .

You are the moon .
You left and came back ,
Not for me to see nor keep ,
For you belonged to everyone to see.

A prized possession,
For everyone including me .
