Once said ,
You could never take it back ,
For a promise holds more than what was mislead .
I've made my fair of promises,
I've never once gave up on one ,
But I've had my loses ,
It cannot be undone ,
As it turns into bruises .
Never given up on a promise
But you knew that i could only go so far ,
Before that promise harms us ,
As we got torn apart .
From promises that were made to provoke the moment,
Having meaning for the time ,
But never once thought about the affect it would have on the unknown.
