A stranger far away ,
Yet unlike a stranger,
She never strayed away ,
Our bond became stronger,
Merely by the pattern we play .

The pattern we play ,
May not be for those around ,
It may be plain ,
Yet we were bound ,
By the words we say .

A pattern different than most ,
We speak as if you were once a book ,
A book that was mistook,
We do not look ,
For the one's we were once hooked .

Strangers bound together,
By the others shiny hook ,
Bond thick as leather,
We caved in our nook ,
As we talked about the weather.

Feelings unsaid,
Yet heard by the way we poet away ,
As we read,
Eachother like a book during the day,
Words said without a first aid .
