Too Late

Parents said they were the light of the family,
Falling into depression so soundly,
Losing their sanity ,
Seeing through their "I'm fine's" so blindly .

Even in hiding they wish to be seen ,
To be heard ,
Not as your machine in your daily routine,
Their presence only blurred .

Its was too late ,
When your vision wasn't blurred ,
Maybe it was fate to carry that much weight ,
From being so unconcerned,
Now you're left to debate ,
As your heart yearned and burned ,
If only you stayed pass eight .
