As I stretched out after stepping off the train, I looked up at the sky, and figured that since it wasn't sunset yet, rather than head home right now, if she's free, I'll go say hey to Kanon and see what she's been up to. After sending a text to see where she's at while I head in the general direction of her place, it's not too long before she mentions she had actually just gotten home after spending some time with the girls in Liella.

It isn't too long before I reach their cafe, and as I walk in the front doors, Mrs. Shibuya said "Hey Y/n, if you're here to see Kanon, she should be up in her room, she just got back a bit ago."

"Right, thank you" I said, nodding. According to Kanon, her mom was happy for her when she found out about us, and since then, she's been trying to get to know what her daughter's boyfriend is like when I come in. If I hadn't already been a customer here for nearly six months before I started dating Kanon, I'd probably be more nervous, but because I was it's more just her wanting to find out things about me.

As I headed up, I took out the earbud I had in and knocked on her door, and a moment later, it opened and Kanon smiled at me as she said "I figured you were coming over from your text. I take it you got back early?"

"Yeah, I ended up starting to stop paying attention to anything as I worked, so he told me to call it a day." I said "I'm really starting to get the hang of it though, so that certainly helps though."

Ever since my relative visited a while back, on the weekends I'll go by his shop in Saitama to help out with watching the place and getting some lessons on making things. In the end I ended up finding that I prefer silver working rather than making the other types of accessories he sells, and so while he deducts some to pay for the materials I use in my practice, he does pay me a little for helping out, and if in the end there are more of the silver accessories than he needs to have in his store, he'll let me take any of the excess that I made so I can sell them online for the extra money. In the end I spend part of that to practice at home, but besides that, there's something I want to someday do, that I'll need a good amount of cash for.

As we sat down on the edge of her bed, I said "By the way, about the new brooch for the new girl in Liella, I finished it yesterday, so I just gotta bring it over sometime."

"That's great, now Natsumi will have a matching one too, she seemed to like them when she saw the others, and this will be a chance for her to meet you." Kanon said

"I'm glad to hear she likes them. And while I didn't help too much with the others, this should be pretty much identical." I said. After all, I've ended up getting plenty of practice since then.

Kanon smiled as she said "I'm glad you're enjoying this that much, last year you talked about how you had no idea what you wanted to do, but it looks like you've figured it out."

I nodded and said "Yeah, I think I have, after I finish high school I'll go take classes to be an actual jeweler, but for now, this is enough. I didn't even know this was it until I gave you your necklace. I just saw how happy it made you, and it made me want to try and do more, thinking about other people feeling the same way."

"I'm so happy to hear I managed to help you find it Y/n. I love you, and I love this necklace you gave me, and I'm sure you're only going to keep getting better and better." Kanon said, smiling as she leaned against me, resting her head on my shoulder

I wrapped my arm around her and said "You've helped me more than you can imagine ever since I got to meet you again, and I'll do whatever I can to support you. After all, I love you too, Kanon. And I promise that someday I'll make you something so much better than that necklace that you'll be blown away by it."

Kanon tilted her head up and leaned forward, the two of us sharing a brief kiss. As she pulled away, I couldn't help but remember how much she used to blush back when we had barely ever kissed, and while she's gotten used to it nowadays, I do kinda miss that cute blush.

"Please shut the door if you two are gonna do this type of thing..." We heard a voice in the entryway say, and looking to see who it was, we saw it was Kanon's sister, looking away as she walked past. I guess I can't blame her for not wanting to end up seeing her sister in a moment like this...

"Aria!" Kanon said, blushing as she went to shut the door before coming back, her face now flush.

Seeing her embarrassed expression, I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. There's the Kanon I know. The mood has been messed up, but I can't really complain, after all, I'm just happy to be beside Kanon and pass the time with her.

In the end, we spent a little while longer together, talking about whatever and just simply enjoying each other's presence before I had to head back home, sharing one last kiss as the sun began to set before I began my walk home.
