A Remedy to Your People
They were covered by the darkness
I had been there many times
Drowned deep in the melancholy
Yet my heart continued to beat
Even when my eyes are closed
I could see beautiful things across
This world that I seek meaning
In a sudden that it went whites and blacks
I chose to open my eyes and reach out
To You where I see light
You embraced my selfless soul
Cryin to You my sorrows
I begged You to heal me
For I wanted to help your people
The want to save them was clearer
They were my reason
By the fact that I still cannot
For I am needing to heal too
I promised You to save myself first
Now I am through
After me, I saw Your people
With sufferings and questions in them
Their eyes shows emptiness
It breaks my heart for they have forgotten faith
They were walking through me
Knocking to my doors and I don't know
I want to thank You that they trust me
With their hearts I carefully see through their soul
Reminding them that in dim
There's You to light their way
And even when they forget
I am here to be the way
Hear my heart, let my soul in
May they find their way to You
For You are the remedy and no other
Now and again I ask you
Give me strength and let me
Be their way to You
Make my words be a remedy to Your people
I am willingly giving it all
For You are my all in all
A remedy to Your people
A music to my soul
For the remedy is no other but here
In You we will return
