(Hailey POV)
The group of us had made it to me and Zander's place, and lets be honest... we were making theories of what Sean and Daisy could be doing.. Honestly they are adorable together.

J- Ooh! I know!
S (Stacy)- Hm?
J- they must be doing homework!

We all laughed knowing that was so Daisy.

H- she wouldn't let Sean help her though-
J- true...
Z- Guys, lets leave them alone to tell us later.. for now we can find something to do.
M- UNO!
L- not again...
S- Oooh thats a great idea!
M- Haileyyy can you get the cards? PLEASEEE!
H- -sigh- fine.

I got up to go to the room in the basement where we kept all of our board games, I hated going down there alone, Zander always had flashlights and British flags hidden around down there. It always scared me when I found one.

I started digging through the shelf
Monopoly...

Oh there it is!
I grabbed the uno box and rushed upstairs. Just to find Milly using my eyeshadow palette to give everyone "war paint."

M- and remember! There is NO friendship OR family in Uno!!
Everyone but M+H- yes Sargent Milly..
H- -Laugh-
M- HEY! YOU LISTEN TO THE SARGENT AND GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE.

Jeez-

H- yes boss-

She put stripes of dark green eyeshadow on each of my cheeks.

M- Perfect!

I handed her the box and she immediately opened it accidentally spilling the cards everywhere.

H- MILLY!
M- oops..

Everyone went to gather up the cards and I somehow managed to place my hand on top of Jake's.

H- O-oops! Sorry!

I felt my face turn red

J- you good?
H- Huh? Oh yeah never been better ha ha...

He gave me a look and shrugged.. I thought I saw a little pink in his face.. or its just me overthinking. I had to remove myself for a moment.

H- guys I'm gonna be right back!

I placed the stack of card I had picked up on the table and went upstairs. I was going to the bathroom furthest away from everyone so I could calm myself.

Forced thoughts piled in my head, but none worked. I was still red, and I was still crushing on Jake. Well that's great, absolutely wonderful.

H (under breath)- SCREW YOU HAND! Be more careful! Now you have me dyed crimson!

Yep... I'm going insane. Talking to my hand... really?

I took a deep breath and opened the door

H- AHH
J- sorry- didn't mean to scare you..
H- I- It's fine!
J- are you sure you're ok? You're acting really weird.
H- -sigh- yes. I'm fine I promise.
J- whatever you say princess.. you can talk to me if you need to.
H- t-thanks..

We started back down the hallway

J- hey Hailey..
H- hm?

A sudden Zander scream let out from downstairs
Z- SPIDER! KILL IT LUKE!

H- -laughs-, oh sorry what were you gonna say?
J- oh..uh I forgot.
H- let me know when you remember!
J- mhm.

We went downstairs to Zander sitting on the countertop in the Kitchen and Luke near him armed with a shoe. Milly and Stacy were standing near the bottom of the stairs.. most likely listening in upstairs.

H- let me guess, spider?
M- genius. I wonder if the neighbors can guess.

The four of us were laughing, "war paint" and all.

There was a knock at the door

M- I'll get it!

Milly rushed to the door and I checked the time 9:13 PM... At this rate we should just have a sleepover.

M- GUYS THE OREO IS HERE!!

Me and Stacey went to the door and I grabbed Daisy by the arm and our girl group went upstairs.

H- so how'd it go??
D- great!
M- tell us more!
S- yeah! What happened??
D- well.. we skipped dinner... and went to my favorite trail..
S- and??
D- then..

Milly was practically falling off my bed out of anticipation.

M- THEN?
D- we kissed!
S+M- -squeal-
H- Aww!
M- so tell us more.. was it like a kiss? Or a KISSS?
D- just a kiss.
S- aw man. No making out?
D- what? No! It was only our first date!
H- shes got a point.

I always wonder what it's like on a first date... but Daisy's was everything I could've dreamed.
