You know that feeling where you're walking... and then you just start wishing you'll run into your crush? Or just me?
To add on, and its always the time you don't think about it it actually happens.
Me and the group were walking around the shops looking for Milly, who ran off somewhere like a toddler.
Stacy- How often do you lose her? Z- way too often. H- last time we lost her was months ago, and you and Luke were supposed to be watching her. L- Zander wanted to go shopping, so that's what we did. Milly actually did us a favor... if i recall what happened that day... H&J- SHUT UP! Z- I'm still watching you, you simp. J- I know! It was a total accident! Remember? H- We were hiding from-
Hailey stopped walking and pointed ahead of her
H- speak of the devil. Stacy- DREW?!
Oh. My. God. He's here... AHHH panic paniccc Stacy chill, he's with Zoey right now.
J- we should go say hi! Especially you Stacy. H- No thanks, I'll opt out of that one. Z- I agree with Hailey. J- fine then I'll be her wingman!
He reached his fist out to me for a fist bump and I let him have it
Stacy- good luck finding Milly! H- we aren't going anywhere without you guys- J(with weird accent)- oh no no I'm on wingman duty, i mustn't allow bystanders D- you better fill us in then. Stacy- maybe Daisy can be my other wingman? J- am I not good enough! Stacey- she's my best friend! J- valid. H- well me, Zander, Luke, and Sean will continue searching. Just come find us when you're done! Stacy- How about we just meet at my car after you find Milly? H- sounds good!
Our group split into two, and the whole time I was staring at Drew... oh Drew.
My stomach was full of butterflies as we were walking over there, but the conversation we walked up to...
Note-(Z-Zoey D-Drew)
Z- come on Drewy Bear! You gotta believe me! D- i can't believe you this time. Z- b..but I'm sorry! D- so you admit to it? Z- what! No! Its a misunderstanding. D- you know what? I'm so sick of you. Z- Drewy... what do you mean? D- I mean we're done.
Drew turned around and stopped in his tracks at the sight of my mission crew.
J- oh! Hi Drew! S- h-hello- Daisy- are you doing alright? I heard what happened.
Me and Jake glared at her for a moment before turning back
Drew- I'm uh..just fine! J- come on, lets walk and talk about it. Daisy- yeah! Drew- Jake why are you hanging with these guys anyway? This little squad is.. abnormal? Stacy- well uh we just lost the rest of the group, thats it! Drew- Jake, you won't believe it man! Zoey cheated again. J- why do you keep getting back with her? Drew- it's embarrassing to not have someone, ya know? J- I don't know. Drew- right. Daisy- well do you need time to heal? Drew- pfft no, this happens monthly. I was just dating her for the look of it at this point, better than being alone.
Daisy looked at me smiling sideways, signaling she wanted to do something.
Daisy- well Drew, we know a cirtan someone that might be perfect, and free for a date tomorrow night! Drew- huh? J- Oh yeah we do! She's right here
They both pointed at me grinning like they had just won a contest.
S- well..uh..
My cheeks were burning
Drew- hm... I'll give it a shot...
Daisy- Great!
Drew came over to me making Jake and Daisy move over as the shared a very nonchalant high five.
Drew- so...uh.. what's your number? So I can text you for tomorrow night..?
That was the first time he's ever smiled, or spoken to me. And I was grinning like an idiot.
Drew- here's mine.
He reached out as if i was supposed to hand him my phone. So i opened the thing to make a new contact and handed it over.
He started typing and handed it back.
Drew- Just send me a message, I'll know its you. S- A-Alright! Drew- see you tomorrow!
Drew walked away and Daisy hugged me
D- Look at you girl! Making progress! J- I'ma be honest with you, he hasn't smiled like that in years. S- There's no way. J- seriously! Everything typically annoys him. S- Just so you know we're listening to that Drew playlist of mine on the way back to Hailey and Zander's. D- Drew playlist?! J- oh yeah.. she accidentally pulled it up on Spotify when Milly was looking through her playlists on the big screen yesterday night while you and Sean were on that date. D- Well that's one way to expose yourself. S- well thanks.
Someones phone dinged, it was Jake's. He pulled his phone out and clicked on something
J- (laugh) they found Milly-
He showed us a picture of where they had found her

J- hailey said that Milly told her that she "was too tired of Lander" D- that's valid. S- the amount of PDA from those two is extra.
We all three laughed and started walking towards Stacy's car to meet everyone else.
