Sugawara walked out of class as it finished heading towards the student services since he had signed up for dorms and needed to sort it. He made his way over, hearing his phone buzzing so checked it seeing a load of messages from Oikawa.
Oikawa: Hey Suga! Physics has finished for me. Has psychology finished for you?
Oikawa: alright I'll assume not, shall I meet you at the front gates so we can walk to the train station
Oikawa: Sugaaaaaaaaaa
Oikawa: rude
Oikawa: :/
Oikawa: look I'm going to have to leave for the train so I'll see you later?
Oikawa: suga you're worrying me now.
Suga quickly responded to the messages as he made his way to the building he was meant to be in.
Suga: hey sorry! My teacher was taking the lesson to the very last second ☹️ also go get your train dumbass
Oikawa heard his phone buzz so checked it chuckling softly as he typed a response while walking
Oikawa: I can still wait if you want me to?
He sighed softly as he waited for the response, he walked into the station and crossed to his platform while waiting for the message back.
Suga: let me know when you get home safely :) and sorry for worrying you, I forgot to remind you but I signed for forms
Oikawa: oh yes I remember you saying! To try reduce the travel for you cuz of travel sickness right?
Suga: yep trains are the worst for it but annoyingly the only way I can get to college cuz I can't drive and well you know what happened the last time I took a school bus :/
Oikawa: ah yea fair. Well tell me who you're dorm bud is and look after yourself, make sure to eat and not overwork I know what you're like.
Suga: I will, I will trust me.
Oikawa: you better.
Suga smiled at the messages seeing it was his turn to sort rooms so walked over to the desk, typing Oikawa a quick talk to you later. He stood at the desk waiting for the staff member to start
"Name?"
"Sugawara"
"Koushi?"
"Yep"
"Alright" she started muttering and Sugawara stood quietly as he waited, internally jumping when she spoke again out of the blue "Koushi Sugawara you are in room 102"
"Thank you"
"Here's your key and you'll find everything in that building, laundry rooms ect. Your stuff is already in the room, any questions come back here"
"Okay thank you" he took the key that was given to him, placing it in his pocket as he walked off to the dorm building.
He arrived at the building seeing no one was in the room or there was no sign anyone had been well except for putting the bags in the room. He saw his bag along with another bag that wasn't his, he wanted to snoop and figure out who it was but forced himself not to and started to unpack hearing the door open not too long after it he started. He turned to see a taller guy with a muscular build, short brown hair and brown eyes to match. Sugawara gave a smile to the guy and placed the stuff down, going to speak but being beaten to
"Hey you must be Sugawara? I'm Daichi"
"Hey, yep I am. How did you know? But it's nice to meet you Daichi"
"Oh I hope you don't mind, I asked at the desk who I was sharing with. There's certain student here I kinda want to avoid"
"Fair, I get that and no not an issue. I was curious as well"
"Alright cool, so which side of the room do you want? You got here first I think it's only fair"
"I don't mind, if you insist I pick I'll take the one away from the window"
"Of course, that works in my favour actually"
"Oh perfect! Also sorry backtracking the conversation a little, just call me Suga. It's less formal I know but I prefer it"
"Oh alright if that's what you prefer, I will do"
Suga grabbed his stuff and moved to the side he said he'd have. Texting oikawa quixkly
