Next Day Later - Luna's Point of View
"Go, babe! You got this!" I hear Ren cheer for me as the girls and I are playing softball.
Orihime prepares to throw the ball while I get myself ready to hit a home run. But once she threw the ball, it only went halfway and rolled the rest of the way to me.
"Whoops, sorry. I guess I went too soft there. Haha." Orihime apologized with a smile.
"I guess it doesn't count as a win?" I said out loud while walking back to the group.
Ren walks up to me and wraps his arms around my hips, "Either way, you're a winner to me, babe. And winners get a kiss from me." Ren leans closer to kiss me on the lips, but instead of letting it happen, I quickly moved away. "Huh? Babe, what's wrong?"
"I- uah- need to use the restroom! Orihime, take my spot!" I said before handing Orihime my bat and left the group.
I walked away from my classmates as quickly as I could to go to the closest girl's restroom. Once I was there, I hid away in one of the stalls. My hand instantly moves over to touch my lips. Then, a memory of Uryu's lips on mine flashed before me. My heart sped up while I felt heat on my cheeks.
"I need to talk to Uryu..." I mumble to myself.
After yesterday's events, Tessai healed up Uryu and Ichigo. Uryu was asleep for a while until he woke up last night. Without a word, he left the shop and hadn't come to school. I don't know if he remembers the kiss or not. I don't even know if it counts as a kiss. Either way, I need to talk to Uryu. I need to know if he remembers what he did and, well, if he felt something.
I shake my head to snap myself out of it before I mumble to myself, "You have a boyfriend, Luna. You need to focus on him-"
"I just love how sweaty Ren gets," one girl said.
I silence myself as I hear a girl's voice.
"I hope he and his team wins the big basketball game coming up soon," a second girl said as I heard the girls' footsteps walking up to the sinks. "Do you think his girlfriend will be there?"
"Ha, I bet not," the first girl responded. "Sora told me how much Ren complains about her not coming to his games. Basically, ignoring how much it would mean a lot to him. She even started fighting with him and clearly not spending any time with him lately."
'I wasn't the one who started all of our fights. And I did show up to his games. I was just late due to training.' I defend myself in my thoughts.
"Isn't it wrong to complain this much about his girlfriend?" The second girl asks her friend.
"Not if your girlfriend is so terrible. I bet she's cheating on him behind his back," the first girl said. "It wouldn't surprise me if she did. He should break up with her so he could shut up. Then maybe I'll help him with support."
"Don't you have feelings for Sora?" The second asks.
"Yeah, but if Ren is single, I'll take him."
The girls laugh together while leaving the restroom. I waited for a few seconds before coming out of the stall. I walked over to the sink, washing my hands. I look at myself in the mirror. Through the mirror, all I see is a girlfriend who tries her best to please her boyfriend no matter and never spoke anything bad about him to friends. And yet, to other's views, they see a girl who Ren complains a lot.
"Is it okay for a boyfriend to make his girlfriend the bad guy?" I ask myself.
Ren's Point of View
"There, that does it," Ichigo said as we finished helping out Mizuiro and Keigo from cleaning.
