Chapter 12 - Fallen For You (Part Two)

Uryu's Point of View

"How did I end up in this situation?" I arguably ask myself that question over and over again while I am sitting on a park's bench with Luna's head resting on my lap, who is peacefully sleeping.

Sadly, I do know how I ended up where I am now. Earlier, I was at the supermarket to purchase more threading and sunflower seeds. When I entered the store, I saw Luna, who looked as if she was about to pass out in front of the cashier. I instantly knew it that her dream sight was trying to show her a new threat that may come our way soon. Instead of running my errands, I decided to walk her home. However, we only made it halfway due to her not being able to stand on her own, so we decided to stop at the park. I was going to let her lay down on the park bench while I stood and watched over her, but she quickly pulled me down to sit and laid her head on my lap. Which led me to be forced to stay with her for half an hour.

I glance down at Luna, who is still sleeping. I understand her dream sight is important, especially if there's going to be any Hollow attacks or something worse than the Bounts. However, due to my left leg falling asleep, I would like to go home now.

'Thirty minutes is long enough. I'll wake her up now.' I planned in my thoughts.

"Luna, can you please wake now-"

At my attempt to wake Luna up, her bag that was placed on her stomach was about to fall to the ground. I caught it in time and placed it back on her stomach. It took me now to notice it's only one item she had bought. I took the liberty to look inside in case she bought food that would go bad or melt. To my surprise, it turns out to be hair dye. The color that she bought was her dark brown. Her natural hair color.

'I think I've fallen for you,'

I was reminded of what she told me in school a couple of days ago. My mind instantly knew that she's still playing this game of hers. Letting the false rumor be true and trying to trick me into believing that she likes me. She even continued her promise to kiss my left cheek, which was inappropriate because it wasn't to my consent. No matter how many times i moved away from her, she still tries to kiss my left cheek. The fact that she bought hair dye because I suggested it won't fool me. Like I would believe she would stop dying her hair multiple times. She knows we can't be involved with each other. And yet, oddly enough, my mind is only thinking that. Something else is thinking the opposite. Something above my chest where my heart is located wants to believe her. I don't understand why. It could be because she's actually going to dye her hair back. It could mean she's telling the truth. But, like I had mentioned, I won't be fooled.

"If you can hear me, Luna. I'm giving you thirsty minutes to wake up," I said to her, knowing she's not listening.

An Hour a Half Later - Luna's Point of View

"Luna? Are you awake now?" I hear Uryu's voice as I finally open my eyes.

"Yes," I said with a yawn. I sit up properly while rubbing my eyes. I turn to look at Uryu. "How long have I been asleep?"

"Exactly two hours, three minutes, and fifteen seconds," He answers me.

"That long? Sorry to keep you here," I apologized to him.

"Apology accepted. What did you see?" He asks me.

'Yes, what did I see?' I ask myself yet knowing the answer to that. 'I won't tell him everything yet. Not until I have answers from Kisuke first.'

"A Hollow will appear to us. And another one is looking for Ichigo, but he'll be fine," I answer without giving too many details. "There's more, but it's a blur and very scramble. I still feel a bit sleepy."
