Chapter 6: Kayden...

Kayden's P.O.V.

"YOU LET HER GET AWAY...YOU NEED TO FIND HER AND MAKE HER OURS...SHE BELONGS TO US!" I growl.

Snarling my host spat at me "She won't go too far...I will find her...now that I know she is our Mate, she will be ours...my long awaited Luna!" he continued to watch her as she drove off feeling him trying to control me.

I was enraged...after all these years trying to find our Mate, our Luna, he let's her get away! She was right under our noses. If we wouldn't have gotten that call before we wete going to meet her, she would be with us right now. We would be calm...we would be happywith her by our side.

"How are you going to find her and make her ours?" I asked him as I was trying to control the rage that was trying to come out.

"I now know her scent...we can track it, then find her and bring her back here with me...us, whete she belongs. I will not let her get away...it's been to long. I need her...we need her...we need her to keep us sane...strong...we need her to be by our side when we take over the rest of the territories." he said trying to ease my doubts.

"What if she refuses? What if she REJECTS US?! WHAT THEN?!" I ask concerned.

"Why would she?! I'm her Alpha and she is my Luna! She will need to understand how important it is for her to be with us. How important she is to the Pack and to our pups! Once I mark her and we are Mated, she can't refuse...she won't." he said sounding sure as he turns back towards the house.

"You better be right...we need her right away...her scent us too intoxicating...I might have marked her right away if you would have caught up to her. I don't know if I will be able to control myself next time!" I tell Rand truthfully as he is now inside the house heading to the Ballroom in search of the Chef.

We can still smell the sweet scent of our Mate lingering in the air...I start to growl, hungry for her to be near us. It pains me to not be with her. I know Rand is trying to compose himself as it hurts him also. Eight long years and right in this house we find our love. The Moon Goddess is sure watching over us as she had promised Rand that night he turned into his Werewolf...into ME!

My name is Kayden, Rand's Wolf...I'm the one that comes out when he can't control his temper or when he's about to fight with our kind...mainly with Rogues.

I first came out when Rand turned 16 years old, when he first shifted into his true self. He was scared as he should have been but the Moon Goddess spoke to him and calmed him down. I then came out through our Mind Link to let him know he had nothing to worry about. I'm pretty much his other half, his conscience at times...HIS VOICE OF REASON!

We try to control each other but when Rand goes into his temperaments, I usually come out taking care of business. He's strong...BUT I AM STRONGER...

Now that we have found our Mate, I know we will be happy...she will make everything better...she has too...we are in dire need of her presence...it's been too long...and if we have to wait any longer, we wouldn't be able to control our actions.

Finding the Chef, Rand stepped in front of him "Chef Jessup, do you know where your assistant lives?!" he asked sounding desperate.

"Are you going to find our Luna?!" I also ask desperately.

"I do Alpha. May I ask why?!" Chef Jessup asks.
