Chapter 8: The Arrangements...the Wolf Code

RING...RING....

"Hello...Alpha?!"

"Blake...I need you to double the Security for my Luna's arrival."

"Alpha, does this mean you have found her?!" Blake who is Rand's Beta, second in command asked.

"I have and I want her to be watched and Secured once she makes it back to the Estate. Her safety is very important. I will tell Audrey to make the proper arrangements and to not make an announcement yet until she is settled in. I also don't want it to be known to my enemies who might use this to their advantage...they will try to take her to get to me."

"Yes Alpha. Will the party continue as planned?"

"Yes...I might even introduce her as my long awaited Luna. Now, do as I ask and make sure there is plenty of Security around the Estate and the property I also want the rouge problem taken care off."

"Yes Alpha I will do as you ask..." Blake said before hanging up.

Hanging up the phone Rand drives off to his destination as he started thinking about Lily and how she turned out to be his beautiful Mate 12 years after he briefly met her at the clearing.

"Who would have thought that the thoughtful and brave young girl who covered me up that morning would be my Mate?! My Love! My everything. My Lily...and she is MINE...ALL MINE! I guess the Moon Goddess was right when she said she was looking after me."

"SHE IS OURS...OURS ALONE...and WE NEED TO MARK HER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...!" Kayden says.

"I know Kayden, I know...soon enough she will carry my mark showing that she is our property and if someone dares to even look in her direction...they will die!" Rand said angrily as the thought of any man looking at what was his enraged him.

Now that Rand had found his Mate, there was no one and nothing that was going to take her away from him. He would hurt and even kill any man who dared looked our touch her...she is his and ONLY HIS.

Under the Werewolf Code any Male Wolf who has found his Mate will be Mated forever. He will mark her to show that she belongs to him. He will be faithful and will do anything to please her. He is also overprotective and at times possessive of his Mate making sure that no other male makes a pass at them...especially unmated males.

Being the Alpha the same rules apply except his feelings towards his Mate is probably one hundred times stronger and his possessiveness will be more of an obsession...he will control every aspect of her life even though she is his equal. It sounds hypocritical but his animalistic ways will always show through when it comes to her...his Luna. She will be the most important thing to him and the pack. Her happiness and safety will be his number one priority and he will always risk his life to save hers.

Once Rand marks Lily and they complete the mating ritual, they will become one, feeling everything the other one is feeling and even have a mind link to each other's thoughts. The pull between Mates is very strong and powerful causing for them both to feel an electrical charge whenever they touch and making them feel pain or even anxious when they are apart for too long. Euphoria and lust is always felt under each other's touch making them long for them no matter what. Even when they are mad at each other. Not feeling or having the Mate bond could have a devastating effect on a Wolf! That is why when a Werewolf takes too long to find their Mate they become Weak in time, sometimes even dying or just take someone else to fulfill their emptiness.

Feeling elated that he had finally found his Luna, Rand knows that his life is finally complete. He will still be the most feared Alpha around and is still planning on expanding his Empire. He will not bow down to any one and will kill when necessary, especially if he feels someone is a threat to his Luna.His way of being ruthless is not going to change, it's all he knows...or though he thinks.

"Lily is going to make my life easier and our Pack complete...she will accept us and will submit to me, her Alpha and her Mate...her everything until death do us apart." he boasted and continued on his way to make Lily his.

A/N: Hello guys, Sorry this chapter is short, but I wanted to get one in today. It's been a busy weekend!

So, Rand called his Beta, Blake to have EXTRA SECURITY for the arrival of his LONG AWAITED LUNA! Does that mean he has her and got rid of Jacob? Will Lily ACTUALLY accept Rand and that she is the Luna of his Pack?

WHAT HAPPENED TO JACOB?! I love reading the comments from the last chapter with what you guys thought about him not being there outside the car while Lily was waiting for him.
