Saat Vachan (Completed)

Part 10

Scene starts in Hospital,
It has been just 10 minutes since Shiva was brought to the hospital by Raavi and Shivam.
Shivam: Main doctor ko bula kar laata hoon.......
Raavi(teary eyed): Haan...jaldi jaa.....
Raavi was looking teary eyed at Shiva's wound.
Raavi's POV(teary eyed)(in mind)(looking at Shiva's wound)
Shiva ke saath firse meri wajah se bura hua. Main hamesha sochti hoon ki kisi ke saath meri wajah se kuch bura nahi hone doongi kabhi....lekin hamesha meri wajah se hi kuch na kuch bura hota hain. Aisa kyun hota hain hamesha? Kyun?
Raavi's POV ends.
Shivam: Yaha....yeh hain patient....
The doctor: Oh my God! Yeh hua kaise?
Shivam: Actually hua yeh tha ki.......
Shivam narrated about the incident to the doctor.
Doctor: Inn kaachon ko nikalna parega......aur fir stitches karni paregi.
Raavi teary eyed looked at Shiva. She was on the verge of crying. Shiva saw this.

Shiva's POV(in mind)(looking at Raavi)
Yeh sab teri wajah se nahi hua hain Raavi.....yeh bas ek haadsa tha......I know ki tujhe bachate hue mujhe lagi chot lekin ismein sach mein teri koi galati nahi hain....tu apne aap ko blame mat kar.
Shiva's POV ends.

The doctor brought all the required items for taking out the glass pieces and then stitching.
The doctor: Dard hoga...bardaasht kar lijiyega please.......
Shiva nodded his head positively.
The doctor started doing his work and Shiva closed his eyes in pain. He held Raavi's hand in pain unintentionally. Raavi kept her another hand on Shiva's hand to calm him down. If she would have been still his bestfriend...she would have just tightly hugged him until the painful session gets over.
The doctor tried to take a piece of glass with more force due to which Shiva closed his eyes tightly while gripping Raavi's hand more tightly. Tears flew down Raavi's cheeks. A tear drop fell down on Shiva's nuckle due to which he opened his eyes only to see a tear striken Raavi's face.

Shiva's POV(in mind)
Raavi ro rahi hain toh mujhe accha kyun nahi lag raha hain? Aisa kyun lag raha hain jaise ki mera dil bhi ro raha hain. Yeh  kaisi feeling hain? Main maanta hoon ki main Shivam se jealous hoon aur vo ek ajeeb si feeling thi......lekin Raavi ko rota hua dekh kar...yeh kaisi feeling hain? Itna ajeeb toh mujhe aaj se pehle kabhi mehsoos nahi hua. Maine toh Raavi ko pehle bhi rulaya hain....tab kabhi aisa nahi laga...toh fir ab kyun? Kya ho raha hain mujhe?
Shiva's POV ended when the doctor spoke.

Doctor: Ab stitches karne hain....(to Raavi) aap please khadi ho jaaiye....aur iss taraf aa jaaiye...so that main uss taraf jaa saku.
Raavi nodded her head positively and stood up.
Shiva left Raavi's hand immediately.
The doctor started doing the stitches.
Shiva: Ahhh!!!!Thoda araam se....
The doctor: Araam se hi kar raha hoon...sorry..thoda sa dard toh hoga hi....
Shiva: Hmm.....

The doctor continued doing the stitches meanwhile Raavi was only focusing on Shiva's face expressions which were only of  pain. Raavi couldn't see more and started crying because she couldn't see her bestfriend in more pain. She hid her face in Shivam's chest crying.
Shivam: Raavi....kuch nahi hua.....shaant ho jaa....dekh Shiva abhi theek ho jaaega....(reciprocating the hug)
Raavi(crying)(hiding her face in Shivam's chest): Sab meri wajah se hua...sab meri wajah se hua hain Shivam...I am the sole reason of everything.
Shivam(rubbing Raavi's arms)(reciprocating Raavi's hug): Aisa kuch nahi hain.....tu overthink kar rahi hain....kuch nahi hua hain teri wajah se...it was just an accident. Calm down.......calm down.......
Saying this Shivam kept his hand on Raavi's waist.Shivam didn't knew that this action hurted someone and burnt the fire of jealousy and anger in someone's heart.
Shiva was glaring at Shivam and Raavi and in just a moment...he saw something which triggered his anger to cloud 9. Shivam kissed Raavi's forehead in order to calm Raavi down. However Raavi didn't calm down but by kissing Raavi on her forehead...Shivam crossed all his limits and boundaries. Forgetting all his pain Shiva stood up and ignoring all the instructions of the doctor to not stand in the middle of the last stich.....Shiva angrily went to Shivam and Raavi and separated them only to slap Shivam hardly across his face. Raavi was shocked to see Shiva's action. Before Shivam could come out from the shock....Shiva held Shivam's collar and spoke angrily.
Shiva(holding Shivam's collar)(angrily): YEH KYA NATAK KAR RAHE HO HAAN? RAAVI KO SHAANT KARNE KA NATAK KYUN KAR RAHE HO JAB KI INN SABKE LIYE SIRF AUR SIRF TUM HI ZIMMEDAR HO? TUMHARI LAPARWAHI KI WAJAH SE HI MUJHE YEH CHOT LAGI HAIN....MERI YEH HALAT HAIN....SIRF AUR SIRF TUMHARI WAJAH SE...
Raavi came in between and tried to detach Shiva from Shivam.
Raavi: Shiva...chod ise....please.....Shiva chod Shivam ko.......
Raavi pushed Shiva a little and detached Shiva from Shivam while trying to protect Shivam. This hurted Shiva and angered him more.
Shiva(angrily): TUM SIRF AUR SIRF NATAK KAR SAKTE HO....AUR KUCH NAHI. TUM RAAVI KE DOST KEHLANE KE LAYAK NAHI HO...SAMJHE? ARREY TUMHARE JAISE DOST HONE SE ACCHA TOH NA HONA ACCHA HAIN......SAMJHE?
Raavi: Bas kar Shiva! Tu jaanta hi kitna hain Shivam ke baare mein? Aur tu hota kaun hain Shivam ko yeh sab bolne waala? Tera koi haq nahi banta hain iss par haath uthane ka ise yeh sab sunane ka. Tu ise bilkul nahi jaanta hain aur isiliye tera koi haq nahi banta hain ise bolne ka ki yeh kisi ke dost hone ke layak hain ya nahi. Main jaanti hoon Shivam ko..aur vo bhi bohot acche se...aur main sach bol rahi hoon ki Shivam jaisa accha dost naseeb waalon ko milta hain...aur bohot mushkil se bhi.

Suddenly Shiva felt immense pain in his heart hearing this. He felt like something broke within him...no..not physically..but mentally something broke within him. It took a moment for him to realize that his heart broke into fine pieces.

Shiva: Kahi aisa toh nahi? Ki tu ne hi mujhe maarne ka plan banaya tha?

Raavi stumbled hearing this. She felt immense pain in her heart. The person whom she considered as her bestfriend accused her of attempt of killing him. Her heart broke into pieces hearing this. She was about to fall down when Shivam saved her. Shiva noticed that Raavi became totally numb hearing this and was extremely hurt due to this accuse but he couldn't take back his words as they already launched from his tounge.
Shivam hugged Raavi but this time....Shiva didn't feel only jealous...he felt something else as well. It was guilt. Yes, for the first time in his life..he was feeling guilty for hurting Raavi. Actually when he blamed Shivam....he was worried for Raavi...he wanted to say that due to his carelessness...the wound or injury he got....Raavi would have got that.  Raavi would have been in his place and Shiva would not be able to digest that. He would literally kill Shivam if something happened to Raavi. He didn't knew why but he felt like that for the first time in life that it would be unbearable for Shiva if something happened to Raavi. It took an hour for Shiva to realize that the name of the unknown feeling when he ran to save Raavi was fear. Yes, the fear of losing Raavi. He never in life felt this...but for the first time when he felt that.....he realized that something is there due to which he couldn't see Raavi in pain.

While all these thoughts hovered over Shiva's mind....Shivam became angry seeing Raavi's condition. He never thought that Shiva could accuse Raavi so badly.
Shivam(hugging Raavi)(angrily): Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki Shiva ki tum aisa koi illzaam lagaoge Raavi par. Maine sach mein socha tha ki tum ek acche ladke ho...lekin nahi...tum kabhi ek acche insaan nahi bann sakte...kabhi Raavi ko samajh nahi paaoge. Mujhe laga tha ki tum Raavi ko apna dost maante ho lekin aaj saabit ho gaya ki tum kabhi Meri Raavi ko samajh bhi nahi sakte aur na hi uske acche dost bann sakte ho. Mujhe toh shaq ho raha hain ki kabhi tum ek acche dost the bhi ki nahi.

Shivam didn't knew that Shiva, who was already in guilt...sinked in the ocean of guilt terribly after his confrontation. Shiva already got the reality check that he did wrong and accused Raavi without even thinking once. Within a couple of seconds...Shiva decided to apologize to Raavi but before he could do that...he saw Raavi fainted in Shivam's arms. Shivam didn't realized this.
Shiva(coming to Raavi)(extremely worried): Raavi...Raavi please aankhe khol.....
Shivam(patting Raavi's cheeks): Raavi....please uth...doctor...kya hua ise dekhiye please.
Shivam picked up Raavi in his arms and took her to the doctor who was standing behind Shiva without even trying to stop the chaos that finished just a couple of minutes ago.
The doctor: Inko ward ke andar le chaliye....
Shivam took Raavi inside Ward No.2 which was the nearest.
Shiva followed Shivam but Shivam closed the door on Shiva's face. Without thinking about his ego....Shiva went inside and saw the doctor checking Raavi.
The doctor(after checking Raavi): Inko sadma laga tha bohot bada.....isiliye behosh ho gayi. Inko ek injection de raha hoon...thodi der mein hosh aa jaaega.
Shivam: Okay doctor.....
The doctor(coming to Shiva): Last stich bacha hain...karwa lijiye please.
Shiva didn't said anything and came and sat down at Raavi's bed. He became totally numb seeing Raavi's pale and tear striken face. He couldn't feel the physical pain of stitches which the doctor continued.
Shiva just stared at Raavi's pale face and didn't realized when the doctor finished his task and left. Shivam sat down beside Shiva as well.
Shivam(teary eyed): Kya mila tumhe Raavi ko hurt karke yaar Shiva? Itne dino se iske saath ek hi ghar mein reh rahe ho tum.....lekin aaj tak nahi samajh paaye ki yeh kaisi ladki hain? Samajh jaao Shiva...atleast kosish toh karo....isse pehle ki bohot der ho jaae.
Saying this Shivam wiped his tears and stood up. He went to receptionist to ask where was the hospital canteen as Raavi was hungry since morning and it was high time that she should eat a full course lunch.
Shiva kept seated at Raavi's bed for a long time without saying anything.
