DIL KI BAATEIN DIL HI JAANE

CHAPTER 2

Kavin sat on a table in the canteen and drifted into his past. He completed his training and came back home that day. He noticed that his sister Kajal was upset. He tried to ask Kajal what the matter was but he couldn't as she was busy packing.

'Kya hua di aap packing kyun kar rahe ho..?' Kavin asked.

'Mera transfer hua hai Kavin.. Ab hum Mumbai mei nahi Delhi mei rahenge..' Kajal said trying to hide something from Kavin.

'Us waqt tho di ne chupane ki bahut koshish ki lekin mai bhi CID officer hu.. Pehle tho mujhe pata nahi chala lekin maine baad mei pata lagaya ki DI DAYA SIR SE PYAAR KARTI HAI..' Kavin said.

'Kya matlab hai aapka..?' Kavin heard Purvi from his phone. He was shocked and he cut the call quickly.

He then messaged her to come to CCD at 6pm in evening so that he can explain what he meant. So she reached CCD at 6 pm. She took a seat and waited for him. He came and then he sat infront of her.

'Tho kya suna tumne...?' Kavin asked.

'Vahi jo aapne phone pe kaha..' She replied.

'Kya kaha maine mujhe yaad nahi..' Kavin said.

'Yahi ki aapki behen mere bhai se..' She looks at him.

'Bhai se kya..?' He asks making sure that she heard him right.

'Bhai se pyaar karti hai..' She said hesitating.

'Jaanti tho ho aur kya batau..?' Kavin asks standing up.

'Aapka so called bakwaas plans..' She said.

'What do you mean..?' He asks.

'Aapne Kajal aur bhai ko milane ke liye koi plan banaya hoga na tho vahi bol rahi hu..' She said.

'Smart.. *He smiles*.. Banaya hai.. Dekho tum meri help karogi un dono ko ek karne mei..' Kavin said.

'Kaise..?' She asked.

'Un dono ko close laake..' He said.

'Yeh koi close up ka ad hai jo aap paas aao paas aao na wala gaana bajana chahte hai..' She says.

'Hey mai mazaak nahi kar raha hu..' He said.

'Aap sach mei CID officer hai..? Vo bhi senior..?' She asked.

'Aisa kyun puch rahi ho..?' He asked.

'Kyunki I don't think ki aapke paas dimaag hai..' She said.

'Kya keh rahi ho tum..?' He says.

'Agar hota tho atleast itna tho samajhte ki jis tarah aapki behen saalon baad bhi Daya bhai ko nahi bhuli, usi tarah mera bhai saalon tak SHREYA KO NAHI BHULENGE..' Purvi said and left.

'Yeh ladki kitni pessimistic hai..' Kavin thought and he also left.

For the next few days, Kavin tried his best to make use of Purvi to bring Daya and Kajal close. Purvi tried a lot to make Kavin understand how Daya will feel if they pressurize him but Kavin just wants his sister to be happy.

'Kavin sir.. I know ki aap apne behen ko khush rakhna chahte hai.. Lekin thoda waqt tho dijiye mere bhai ko taaki vo kaam pe dhyaan de pehle, Abhijeet sir se rishta banaye aur phir dheere dheere mai Kajal aur bhai ko paas laane mei aapki madad karungi..' Purvi said.

'Promise..?' Kavin asked while she said yes. So Kavi made a deal to work on a mission #DAJAL.

And as time passed by Daya and Abhijeet reunited and Daya also forgot about Shreya, although not completely but still he remebered her once in a while still keeping her in a corner of his heart.

'Pari us waqt mujhse naraaz thi aur humne tab se ek dusre se baat nahi kiya.. Kal uska birthday hai aur aaj raat mai use surprise karunga..' Daya thought and he went to the market to bring some items needed for decoration.

At midnight when Purvi came she saw it was dark and before Daya can give her surprise, she received a call.

'Kavin sir is waqt call kyun kar rahe hai..?' She said and picked the call.

'Purvi Bheemgadh ke jungle mei ek laash mila hai abhi report karo..' Kavin said and cut the call.

'Yeh khooni logon ko aur koi kaam nahi hai kya..?' She said and left for Bheemgadh jungle.

She was kidnapped there and Daya who followed her tried his best to save his sister but failed.

The next day, Abhijeet saw Daya angry and holding Purvi's phone.

'Purvi ka phone tumhare paas..?' Abhijeet asked and Daya told the matter which made Abhijeet angry.

'Ek min Daya.. Tumne kaha ki Kavin ne Purvi ko vaha bulaya.. Tumne vaha Kavin ko nahi dekha..?' Abhijeet asked.

'Nahi..' Daya replied.

'Lekin Kavin itni raat ko Purvi ko jungle mei kyun bulayega..?' Abhijeet asked. Just then Kajal entered and heard what Abhijeet said.

'Kya hua sir..? Kavin Purvi.. Kya keh rahe hai aap dono..?' Kajal asked.

'Listen Kajal.. Kavin ne aadhi raat ko Pari ko call karke yeh kaha ki bheemgadh jungle mei ek case hai aur meri behen vaha akeli gayi aur vaha uska kidnapping hua..' Abhijeet said.

'Aur sabse badi baat yeh hai ki Kavin jise jungle pe hona chahiye tha vo vaha nahi aaya..' Daya said.

'Kavin ne Purvi ko bulaya..?' Kajal was worried. She was about to call Kavin when they saw Kavin coming along with Purvi.

'Pari..' Daya said and hugged her while she was taken aback due to the sudden hug.

'Bhai..?' She said looking at him. He just hugged her again tightly caressing her hair.

'Kya hua bhai..?' She asked and Abhijeet told what happened the last night and how Daya was tensed. She glared Kavin.

'Vo kidnapping nahi tha.. Yeh Kavin sir..' She said.

'Sorry sir.. Vo actually mujhe Purvi ka kuch madad chahiye tha aur mai is baare mei kisi ko bata nahi sakta isliye.. I'm really sorry sir...' Kavin said bending his head downwards.

'Kavin..' Kajal shouted at him.

'Tumhe andaza bhi hai ki Daya sir kitne ghabra gaye honge..? Aur agar kaam tha bhi tho usse baat karte, aise kidnap karne ki kya zaroorat thi..?' Kajal shouted.

'Vo Kavin sir propose kar na chahte the apne crush ko..' Purvi said while Kavin was shocked.
