'Purvi achanak mere paas rehne kyun aayi..? I mean aisa kya hua ki vo bureau mei bhi nahi rehti hai ab.. Aur tho aur soyi bhi tho mere kamre mei..' Kavin thought.
Someone hit Kavin's head. It was his own image.
'Maara kyun..?' He asked.
'Vo tumhara akela ka kamra nahi raha ab.. Vo kamra Purvi ka bhi ho gaya hai..' His image said.
'Mazaak mat karo.. Vo tho mujhe apna husband nahi maanti..' He said.
'Husband nahi maanti tho tumhare saath rehne kyun aayi..? 10 din ke liye gayab thi vo.. Tumse hamesha ke liye alag rehna koi badi baat tho nahi tha.. Especially tumhare khaand ke baad..' His image said.
'Achanak mai uska husband kaise ban gaya..?' He asked.
'Mai Purvi nahi hu.. Mai tumhara mann ka awaaz hu.. Tum jitna jaante ho mai bhi utna hi jaanta hu..' His image said.
'Kya mai usse baat karu..?' He asked.
'So jao.. Lagta hai koi aa raha hai..' His image said and he laid on the bed. The door got opened. Kavin understood that SHE came.
'Kavin sir..' She called and he was about to get up when..
'I hope ki vo so rahe hai..' She said and he didn't get up. He pretended to be in deep sleep.
'Lagta hai so gaye.. Mai nahi jaanti ki aapko kya dekh ke mujhse pyaar hua lekin...' She said.
'Lekin kya..?' He thought.
'Lekin achchha hota agar aapko kisi aur se pyaar hota tho..' She said.
'What nonsense..? Duniya ki saari ladkiyon se rakhi bandwa lunga agar aisi bakwaas ki tho..' He thought.
'MAI AAPKO VO PYAAR NAHI DE SAKTI JO AAP CHAHTE HAI.. MAINE APNE DIL KE HAR DARWAZE KO BAND KAR DIYA HAI.. CHAHE THO IS DARWAZE KO KHOLNE KI KOSHISH KIJIYE LEKIN MAI KHOL NAHI SAKTI..' Purvi said.
'Aur sorry.. Maine aapke behen ko hurt kiya.. Vo dikhati nahi hai lekin mai jaanti hu ki vo kitni hurt hai aur mujhse kitni nafrat karti hai.. Nafrat karne wala kaam jo kiya maine..' Purvi said.
'Aisa kya kiya Purvi tumne..?' Kavin thought.
'Maine gusse mei aakar Kajal ko bhai ka love letter diya jo unhone Shreya ke liye likha apne feelings ka izhaar karte hue.. Us din tho usne gift keh ke asaani se baat khatam kar diya par maine kal dekha ki vo kitne insecure hai andar se..' Purvi said.
'Love letter kyun diya di ko..?' Kavin thought.
'Mai ek din aapko apni husband ki tarah accept kar bhi lu lekin Kajal aur bhai ko husband wife ki tarah accept nahi kar paaungi.. Kabhi nahi.. Uske liye I'm really sorry..' Purvi said and it was very obvious from her tone that she feels guilty. Kavin sat on the bed after she left.
Kavin smiled a bit and said, 'mujhse behtar aur kaun jaanta hoga ki tumne apne dil ke har darwaze ko band kyun kiya hai..'
His image came infront of him and asked, 'kyun band kiya usne dil ke saare darwaze band..?'
'Kyunki abhi vo depression mei hai..' Kavin said and laid on the bed. He closed his eyes when his image again asked him, 'Vo depression mei kyun hai..?'
'Kyunki Shreya uske liye sirf dost nahi hai, balki Purvi ke liye Shreya bahut maayne rakhti hai..' Kavin said and cried the entire night.
The next day, Purvi and Kavin went to bureau. Everyone was immersed in work when Dushyant noticed Kavin staring at Purvi. He smiled and went near Kavin.
'Kya khoob lagti hai badi sundar dikhti hai..' Dushyant sang in slow tone.
'Kaun.. Ishita..?' Kavin asked in low tone with a teasing smile.
'Nahi file..' Dushyant stared at him.
'Sir.. Dushyant ko file work karne mei bahut maza aa raha hai aisa iska kehna hai..' Kavin said while Dushyant looked at Kavin with shock.
'Tumhe aur files pe kaam karna hai kya Dushyant..?' Abhijeet asked while Dushyant signalled Kajal to save him.
'Sir actually Dushyant ki sar pe chot laga thoda tho vo aaj kuch bhi bol raha hai..' Kajal said.
'Tum rehne do Dushyant, kaam hum kar lenge..' Abhijeet said and Dushyant's files were taken. Dushyant felt happy as he didn't have any work to do.
'Tch tch tch.. Kyun apne pairon pe khulhadi maarne mei itna maza le rahe ho..? Mujhse kehte tho mai apna files tujhe de deta, is tarah Abhijeet sir se kehelwake kyun liya..?' Dushyant asked smiling under his throat as his files were given to Kavin.
It was lunch break after sometime. So everyone left. Kavin laid on the table as his eyes were aching due to staring at the screen continuously. After sometime, Dushyant said that Purvi is no where when he noticed.
'Uska lunch ho gaya hoga aur vo bureau gayi hogi..' Kavin said.
After sometime when Kavin returned along with others, he saw Purvi working on her PC. He also went to work. It was late night, Kavin completed his work, went downstairs and sat in the passenger seat of his car and closed his eyes.
He heard the door sound, so he gave the car keys.
'Drive karna aaj.. Meri aankhein dardkar raha hai..' Kavin said and the person started the engine.
'Dushyant jaante ho mai Purvi se pyaar kyun karta hu..?' Kavin asked but there was silence.
'Kyunki mai usse pyaar karta hu..' He smiled while the person applied break.
'Aapne pee rakha hai kya..?' SHE asked while he got up with a jerk. He looked at her.
'Lagta hai meri aankhon ko strain zyada hua hai.. Isliye Dushyant ki jagah Purvi dikh rahi hai..' Kavin said rubbing his eyes.
He opened his eyes and is still not able to believe the fact that she is driving for him. He received a message and read it.
'All the best' It was a message from Dushyant which made Kavin to finally believe that she is really infront of him right now.
