My life is like absolute chaos. My girlfriend's able to talk to me again, it's my school and college finals soon, and I am officially my band's drum major now :)))) Despite being busy for like six days a week, I'm really going to try to continue to update this story. During my first period, I can usually spend most of my time writing, so please just be a little understanding.
After the interviews, the three friends decided to cut their shopping spree short. There was already so much happening, and they just wanted to relax together for a while. They headed to a nearby café and ordered some coffee and pastries, chatting about their day and making plans for the weekend. The whole group would probably be hanging out this weekend. As far as they knew, everyone was free, and the whole MPS had not been together in quite some time, even during the occasional battles with Myura.
The MPS members were looking forward to reuniting and catching up with each other. They hoped that the upcoming gathering would be a chance to strengthen their bond and prepare for any future challenges. Recently, connecting has been a challenge with no school and fewer frequent battles. They were all sucked up in their own lives and had families that were overly worried for them. The only ones who truly spent a good amount of time with each other were those who would appear for breakfast at the Agreste Mansion.
Once they had received their meals and were seated at the cafe, they lapsed into comfortable silence. The pleasant silence was interrupted occasionally by witty remarks and frequent smiles, but the three mostly just observed. They loved the people and the city; they worked hard to protect them each day and just thought about anything on their minds. As they sat there, they couldn't help but feel grateful for the peaceful moment amidst the chaos of their daily lives. They knew that soon enough, they would have to go back to school and face whatever challenges awaited them.
Once they got back to school, the peace between the class would be broken again, and most would fall under the pretenses of the sausage haired liar. No matter how bad the class was under Lila's reign, Marinette couldn't bring herself to hold it against them. In the beginning, she and the blondes all believed her.

The day Lila Rossi arrived had not been a very different day at all.
( FLASH BACK)
Marinette had gotten up late as usual, and her friends had all headed to class without her. As she raced up the steep steps, her mind was completely distracted with thoughts of Adrien and her Ladybug duties. At the top step, she flew straight into the school to her classroom on the second floor. She was very close to her class when the bell rang—closer than many of the times before anyways.
She rushed to her seat and took out her notebook, hoping that she wasn't too late for the first lesson of the day. As she caught her breath, she realized that she had forgotten her textbook in her locker. Looking at her best friend beside her, she gave a sheepish wave before nodding at her textbook. " Don't worry, girl; I'll share with you, but you owe me some croissants now. I'm not even going to tell you to try and be on time because we both know by now it's impossible."
Marinette was about to respond with praise for the goddess she called Alya, but the teacher walked in and effectively cut the conversation short. " I have the pleasure to announce that our class will be receiving a new student today, Miss Lila Rossi. I trust you will all be very welcoming to your peer?"The class responded with their usual agreement and waited excitedly for a glimpse at the new addition. The teacher smiled and said, "Great! Let's make sure we help our new classmate feel included and valued in our classroom community."
A girl around their age walked into the classroom almost shyly. Her brunette hair was mostly down, with two bunches in the front of her head sectioned off toward the end. The class did not quite know what to think of her but smiled warmly either way. Her outfit was not too bold, with the exception of her orange jacket, which matched her hair ties. The tan of her skin made it stand out considerably, and in Marinettes opinion, it was not quite the girl's color. She would never say so at the risk of being mean anyways. Marinette wondered if the girl had spent too much time under the sun or if it was her natural skin tone. Regardless, she decided to focus on getting to know her better rather than judging her appearance.
The girl introduced herself with the hope of many friends and experiences and quickly asked for her seating arrangement. She was told to sit in an empty seat near the back, but it seemed she needed a seat near the front for vision problems. The teacher kindly accommodated her request and found her a seat near the front, sending Nino to the back in her place. The girl thanked the teacher and settled in for the class. Marinnete was kind of upset to see their group dynamic change with Nino all the way at the back, but it's not as if the girl knew how close they all were or were trying to be in the way. She decided to focus on the lesson and try to make the most of it, hoping that their group dynamics would improve in the future. As the teacher started speaking, Marinette took out her notebook and began taking notes.
The rest of the day was pretty normal, except for trying to include the new girl in some of their activities. Lila had started out as a very sweet girl with nothing but kind remarks and stories for everyone; no one really expected anything, not even Marinette.
( END FLASHBACK)
No one expected anything in life to turn out this way, so it was better to just adapt than worry about the past what ifs.
