AU#3 What happened Jinx/Powder x Reader

*AFTER EXPLAINING*

"geez kid that was a lot I'm glad you knock those punks out" Sevika was laughing "yeah it was pretty fun we still don't know how the explosion happened though" I got down off the counter and started to walk back to the living room "I should probably get going it's late and knowing Powder she's gonna worry" I looked over to the couch to see Sevika have sat down and was putting on her boots "i'll come with you it's dangerous to go out there at this time"

When she was done pudding her boots on she open the door and let me go out first then followed me "if you get tired let me know I'll carry you back" I looked up at her and smiled "no I'll be fine I have to stay up a little longer because I promised Powder something" she looked down at me and smile "then why don't you get some sleep now so you could be awake later on it's no good if you're tired" I was about disagree before she picked me up and started to carry me "i'm not taking no for an answer I know you haven't slept that much either" I laid my head on her shoulder as I started to feel my eyes get heavy "I guess a quick nap wouldn't hurt thank you Sevika" after those words left my mouth I fell into a deep sleep

*SEVIKA POV*

I was carrying (y/n) as she slept if I'm being honest I have a soft spot for this kid ever since I met her really I see her as a daughter to me even though I'm just patching up her wounds or just looking after her and helping her with her training but I see her as my daughter I told her if she ever needs anyone someone to talk to or just to be around she could come to me I stand by that still I take more care of her then Vander

Even when she's working at the last drop as the cook and I know she's not getting any orders or she doesn't need to cook anything I ask for her and if she's not busy she comes out of the kitchen and I sit her on my leg and teach her how to play cards she even played a few rounds when she was at my place just hanging out taking a break

I'm going to give Vander one last warning saying if he doesn't shape up and treat her as he treats the others and start caring for her then I'm taking her I know with that logic I'm gonna have to take Powder as well I tried to get her to move in with me a while ago but she always says she stays because of Powder she doesn't wanna leave her she wants to stay with her she loves Powder a lot

*YOUR POV*

I felt someone shaking me a little bit to try and wake me up "kid it's time to wake up we're here" I open my eyes to see the last drop in view I smiled and try to get down "wow now kid I'll put you down once we're at the door" I looked up at her and gave her a small smile and a nod

Once we got to the door she put me down and open the door for me to walk in when I went inside I saw everyone sitting down drinking something I know it was juice

"There you are (y/n) it was getting later than you normally come back" Vander had a smile on his face as he pulled another cup I made my way over to the bar and sat down next to Powder "yeah" I started to drink the drink as I felt Powder put her head on my shoulder "I missed you where were you" I put the cup down and wrap my arm around her shoulders "I miss you too wild flower" before I continue her whole body shift as she grabbed my non-dominant hand "what happened" I started to laugh nervously as I put my hand away sitting it back on the counter "well you see umm" before I could finish Sevika intervened

"she decided to bite her hand making it bleed" I looked away from Powder and gave Sevika a death glare "why did you have to bite your hand kiddo" I looked at Vander about to answer him before Sevika did "because I had to pop her shoulder into place I gave her a rag but she spit it out the first time I did it and the second time she decided to bit her hand" I stuck my tongue out at Sevika

I turned away from her and took another sip of my drink "is that where you were holding your shoulder" I looked Powder in the eyes I knew that she was worried "yeah it was I just needed it pop back in place I'm fine now" I got up and started walking to the basement "anyways I'm heading down Powder you can come when you want" she knew what I meant by those words and immediately got up as well and ran over to the door "we'll see you guys tomorrow"

Powder grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs "are you sure we can go now though" she sounded excited as I just smiled "i'm sure" I let go of her hand and made my way over to a loose piece of wood in the wall I moved it out-of-the-way I let Powder go first I went after her making sure I close the secret hatch as we made our way out of the last drop

once we were outside I grabbed her hand again and started walking "come on we should be quick though" I helped her climb up one of the buildings and I followed after I looked around at the on the undercity for a quick second smiling at the lights "come on (n/n) let's go before we get caught"
