Me Mylo and Claggor were all laughing and trying to catch our breath once we made it to the castle I had beaten the boys since I knew a shortcut that got me here quicker than them

"That wasn't fair" Mylo was laying on his back on the ground trying to catch his breath "you never said I had to stick to the path plus you two had a head start" I was leaning against the door as I was laughing "she's right Mylo we didn't have any rules" Claggor was sitting on the stairs as he had a smile on his face "screw both of you" Mylo set up a little to look at us as we could hear Vander laughing "you kids got here quickly" Selene was walking with him but ran to me once they saw me "these two cheated" me and Claggor both would just laugh "and how did they cheat" Vander kneeled beside Mylo "well (y/n) don't stay on the path and Claggor tripped me" Vander looked at us as I looked at Claggor since I don't know that he tripped Mylo "hey I only tripped you because you pushed me off the path and made me fall" Claggor stood up and went over to Mylo "plus we never stated any rules you didn't tell me I had to stay on the path" Vander was just shaking his head laughing at the three of us "all right kids let's head inside (y/n) you said we could spend the night here right" I nodded my head "yeah the doors unlocked it's always was so we can just head in" Vander smiled as he walked up to the door as I pushed myself off of it letting him open it

I was a little bit nervous as Vander open the door and walked in with Claggor Mylo could tell that I was a little bit hesitant to go inside "are you ok sis" he put his hand on my shoulder making me look at him "yeah I'll be fine it's just memories that's all" I gave him a small smile as I took a deep breath and walked inside the castle to already see Vander and Claggor looking around

"Wow this place is nice" Claggor was running his hand against one of the railings to go up the stairs as Vander was looking at some pictures that was still on the wall Mylo ran by me as he went up the stairs to look at the picture in the middle when the stairs separate "who are they" Claggor and Vander both looked at the picture confused on who the two people were "that would be the king and The Lady of the moon clan" Selene stood beside me as I petted their head "hey (y/n) you looks like the king" Mylo was pointing at the picture as he was looking at me "yeah he's right" Claggor kept looking at the picture then me "that's because he's my dad" I was looking down as I just heard them yell

"WHAT"

I looked at then with a small smile "my dad was the king as my mother was the lady of the moon clan that's why Selene is so protective of me they protect the royal family" I started walking over to them as they all kept looking at the picture then me "so in other words your royalty" Mylo was looking at me surprised "yeah that's correct" Mylo and Claggor was in aww as Vander put his hand on my shoulder "I'm sorry about your parents kid and the whole clan" I looked up at Vander with a small smile "it's ok it was a long time ago I had time to cope" Vander was still giving me a apologetic look

"Claggor come look at this" I looked at Mylo and Claggor to see them down the hall running around looking at everything

"Kid are sure you are ok I know you never talk to me about this stuff about your feels but you can I'm here for you and the boys but I can tell something if of are you sure you're ok" I gave him a little smile as moved his hand "I'm fine I promise" I just smiled as I went to cheek on the boys

As I walked around the halls I started to remember some stuff that happened when I was a little girl I could almost hear my parents voices or my uncles or even the guards it hurt but I have to be here for them they need a safe place and this is the only place I could think of

"(Y/n) baby look out" 

I turned my head has I heard my mothers voice as I saw the broken vase on the floor " I guess no one cleaned it up" it happened before the war broke out on the bridge I wasn't being careful and I was just running around like a little kid my mother was walking with me since I wanted to show her something and I was excited but I accidentally made a turn to quickly and hit my head on the table causing the vase to fall and break that was the last memory I had with my mother just me and her since the war broke out right after that they asked for help right after the vase broke we went into the throne room and saw my dad talking with someone from the undercity and everyone went up to the bridge to help

I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath remembering my mothers voice how sweet and innocent it sounded how every word my mother spoke with like sugar how she worried about me and my father it felt nice being back here a little bit but it mostly hurt knowing that I won't see them again

I quickly took a deep breath as I walked a little bit more seeing a door cracked open and I heared Mylo's and Claggor's voices

"Mylo I don't think we should be jumping on the bed" Claggor sounded worried like he always does "come on it's fine nothings going to happen plus the beds are so soft" Mylo sounded happy as I heard him fall on the bed "what if (y/n) gets mad" Claggor still sounded worried as I leaned against the door pushing it open more "i'm not gonna get mad I used to do the same thing in my old room" Mylo propped himself up with his elbow to look at me as Claggor turned his head "if you want you can stay in this room Mylo i'll show Claggor to a different room I know I will probably be staying in my old room it's just three doors down"  Mylo smiled as he just laid back on the bed "yep that's fine with me I'm not getting up anytime soon" I started giggling a little as I held the door open for Claggor "come on I'll show you to a different room" Claggor smiled as he followed me to another guest room across the hall so he could rest
