gwens barn dance

This morning I drove to go to my house after uni.

I was in the back door.
"mummmaaa"
"Hello darling!" She approaches me and kisses both my cheeks. Then goes back to making the lunch.
"How's baby Smith?" She asks, grinning.
"They're good! Getting big now" I giggle.
"Smithy will be a great dad my love" she says. I nod.
"He's gonna be great"

Gavin walked in "mornin" he stretches.
"Good morning my little Prince!"
"Yes goodmorning Prince Gavin" I bow and mum cackles.

Gavin's POV

The door went. Most likely smithy.
"Smithster!"
"You've got to hold and give but do it at the right time" smithy sang while dancing around.
I joined in "you can't be slow or fast but you must get to the line"
"They'll always hit you and hurt you. Defend and attack. There's only one way to beat them and it's around the back"
Dad joined in. "So catch me if you can, coz I'm the England man—" we forgot the words.
"What is it?" Smithy asks.

cassie and mum join..
"Three lions on my chest-" they sing and we all join in.
"You know we can't go wrong singing for England. En-ger-land"
"Bra bra bra bra boo!"
"Boo!"
"Booo!!"

"What time are we leaving?" Smithy asks.
"Dunno four ish" I reply.
"You eaten?" Mum asks smithy.
"Yeah just had some Crunchy Nuts"
"You want some more?" She asks.
"You having some?" He asks cassie.
"Don't mind if I do!" She shouts.
"Don't mind if I don't!" Mum, me, smithy and dad replied.

cassies POV

The party!

i wore -

"Right!" Bryn clapped to get everybody's attention.
"Of anyone is expecting friends, will you phone them and explain—"
Bryn's phone went. Probably Stacey telling him her and Gwen are close
Ted began explaining why he was late..
"What it was— they've closed Plassey Street, see. And there's no diversion—"
"Oh lord they're here" Bryn says.
I was beside smithy.
Ted was still rambling on "right ted shush" Bryn shushed him.
"Everyone into position. Doris; lights"
Ted was still speaking to mick
"Ted please be quiet" Bryn asked again.
"You okay?" Smithy asked me.
I nod "never better" I smile.
"Ted shut up!" Bryn screamed. That shut him up.

.. the lights went off.

The doors opened.
"Surprise!!" We all cheered.

"SURPRISE. SURPRISE. SURPRISE. SURPRISE. SURPRISE. SURPRISE. SURPRISEEEE!" Bryn fist bumped the air.
He handed Gwen a cowboy hat "get this on birthday girl. You're having a barn dance!"
"Aww thank you ever so much!" She hugged him.
"What the hell is Jean doing here?"
