Ruby left the couple alone in the corridor and went to the dorm with a grin. She was happy that, at last, her brother accepted to confess his feelings to her.

"Happy much, Lupin? " That smile faded as she looked aside to see Avery and Lucious. She threw a glare and tried to walk ahead of them, but that didn't happen. Instead, Avery held her wrist and harshly pulled her towards him.

Ruby immediately pushed him back and slapped across his cheeks.

"Bastard," she mumbled.

"You filthy halfblood! " He yelled as he took out his wand from his pocket, but before he could do anything, Ruby casted expelliarmus to him.

"You better warn your friend not to touch any women," she said to Lucious with a smirk because fear was evident in his eyes. Ruby tucked her wand inside her pocket and made her way to the dorm without any disturbance.

Once she reached there, she saw Lily tapping her foot as if she were nervous.

"Lily! Are you alright?" Ruby asked as the girl flinched.

"Oh, Ruby! I'm fine!" Lily said.

"You don't look fine though, what's the matter?" Ruby asked as she stood in front of Lily.

"Nothing... I'm just going for head girl duty... with Potter. " Ruby gave her a teasing smile.

"You feel nervous around him?" Ruby asked as Lily started to shook her head vigorously.

"Merlin, no! I don't like him, alright? I hate Potter! Why--"

"Oh," Ruby and Lily immediately turned aside to see James with a disappointed face. Guilt could be seen in Lily's face. James shook his head and smiled weakly.

"Let's go for the duty, Evans," He said and walked out of the dorm.

"I messed up," Ruby said as she looked at Lily with apologetic gaze.

"No,no, it's completely my fault for being this rude.... don't blame yourself, " Lily said, still looking at the empty entrance.

"I should go... see you later, Ruby, "Lily said and walked out.

"What's the matter, love?" Said a voice as she turned abruptly only to get bumped into Sirius, but he held her by her waist and pulled Ruby closer to him, saying,

"Got you," she chuckled and pecked his cheek, which made him grin.

"I asked you a question."

"We'll, I've got two news... one is good and one is bad. What do you wanna hear first?" She asked as the duo took a seat on the couch.

"Say what you feel and let me criticize whether it's good or bad," he said.

"First is, I guess El and Remy will get together!" She said with an excited him and narrated the whole story to him. Sirius couldn't believe his ears. His shy friend, Remus Lupin was in love.

"Moony knows how to kiss?" He asked with a little exclaim as Ruby nodded her head with an excited smile.

"I'm so happy for them!" Ruby said as she leaned her head on his shoulder with a contended smile. Seeing this, Sirius softly smiled and leaned his head on her's. Ruby hates being lovey-dovey with someone, but she can't help it in this case. Soon that smile faded when her thoughts started to dwell up with her visions and missions. She knew that might even lose herself in this war, but she didn't wanted to lose her loved ones.

"hey, are you alright?" Sirius's voice brought her out of the little trance. She looked at him and gulped harshly. Ruby wanted say everything to him, but she didn't wanted him also to be involved in this. Sirius looked at her hesitant expression and brought her closer to him until there was no space between them.

"Ruba, what's the matter?" he waited for her answer but she just stared into his eyes which was filled with love and concern.

"I like you, so, so, much" Sirius's heart skipped a beat as his eyes widened;lips parted in shock. Before she could say anything, Sirius captured her lips and kissed her. Ruby kissed him back as she made herself seated in his lap. The kiss was not out of lust, it was full of love, passion towards themselves. The kiss soon heated as they sucked each others lips.

"Rub-- OH MY EYES!" Marlene shrieked as they pulled away with flushed faces and breathed heavily.

"YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING TOGETHER?" Marlene asked as Ruby nodded mindlessly. still thinking about the kiss.

"YES! FINALLY!" she exclaimed happily and dragged Ruby from Sirius's lap.

"I'm kidnapping her. you can fuck her later" Not only Sirius, but Ruby also blushed at Marlene's comment.

Once the girls reached the dorm, Marlene asked,

"so, Is he a good kisser?"
