It was the D-Day

That is, the 'date' day.

Ruby looked at the mirror as she admired her attire. She wore a yellow crop top and baggy blue Jean along with a yellow cardigan. She tied her hair in a loose ponytail. After applying a tiny amount of lip tint to her lips, she got out of her dorm.

Though they were dating for around ten months, Sirius felt scared. It was their first date after their confession. He waited in the common room as he saw everyone heading out as it was hogsmeade weekend.

"Sorry for the late." he heard a voice, which made him look up and get awestruck as his mouth gaped at the sight. There, Sirius saw his girlfriend, who looked beautiful even in casual wear. Ruby smiled shyly due to his gaze as she stood in front of him and tilted her head.

"Can we go?" Ruby asked as she held his hand in hers. This made Sirius come out of the trance as he cleared his throat.

"Ah- Urm, yeah, sure," he stumbled on his words, which made Ruby to a smile smugly.

"Why are you speechless?" She asked innocently as Sirius just stared at her. Without any warning, he leaned closer to his face, which made her eyes close as she waited for his lips.

"Why do you look hot to me even in casuals?" He said seductively as his lips brushed her earlobes 'unknowingly '. Ruby's eyes opened wide at his statement as she looked to see Sirius with a teasing smile.

"I hate you!" She said, blushing heavily as she smacked his arm. This reaction of hers made Sirius laugh.

"Ouch, Ouch! Stop, let's go!" He said in between his laughs as his arms went around her neck and pulled her closer to his side as she kissed her hair with a soft smile. Ruby, too, smiled as the duo stared to head to Hogsmeade.

"You drink tea?" Ruby asked as they stood outside Madam Puddifoots' teashop. Sirius nodded his head with a smile.

"I drink tea, darling," Sirius said with a wink as Ruby rolled her eyes, though there was a small smile present on her lips.

"I'm surprised. My whole family doesn't like tea except for me. Finally I got a person to sit and drink tea with me!" Ruby said excitedly as Sirius chuckled. The couple went inside as they gave their orders and sat at the corner of the shop.

"How are you feeling now, Ruby?" Sirius asked as Ruby looked at him dumbfounded.

"Me? I'm fine, " she said clueless.

"Mentally, idiot. How are you feeling mentally? " sirius said to his ignorant girlfriend who smiled sheepishly.

"I'm not an idiot, but I'm actually feeling relieved after saying the truth. All those days,whenever I get these visions, I felt suffocated because I couldn't share it with anyone.... now, I have you and Remy, " Ruby said as she smiled fondly at him.

But that smile faded.

"But... what if I put you guys in danger?" Ruby asked as she started to overthink.

"What if I am the danger? What if he finds out? What if he takes y--" Sirius didn't leave her to continue as he closed her mouth by his hand.

"Stop," he said. Before he could say anything, they got their tea. Sirius decided not to talk about this at the time as they drank their teas without conversing.

The couple walked out of the shop as they headed to other shops. Soon, Ruby forgot about that topic as she started to enjoy the day. Sirius too enjoyed but he didn't forget it. He was glad that she was being all happy and smiling.

Lastly, they reached the infamous shrieking shack. Ruby stood beside the tree as her body was leaned on it. Sirius wrapped his hand around her waist as he pulled her closer to him.

I don't care what happens in the future, Ruba. I'm completely fine with dying. " Ruby looked at him with wide eyes. " As long as I'm with you, I don't care about dying. It's a universal truth. Death is common, and I'm fine with it. But, the worst part is, living without you, " Sirius said as his eyes glistened with tears, but none fell down.

"Last month without you, it was horrible. Even though I had the guys around me, I felt lonely and finding you hugging Snape -"

"It's not -"

"I know, but at that time, all of my insecurities rose up. I felt like I didn't put any effort on us -"

"Siri---"

"I even thought of smoking, but I couldn't... not when you yelled at me when you were fourteen, " Ruby remembered that.

"Is that a cigarette? Are you smoking!? What's wrong with you, Sirius?! It's not good for your health! You might get sick and die! Do you want your loved ones to get all sad and worried?!" Ruby rambled as Sirius looked at her with curious eyes. No one has ever stopped him or at least tried to stop him. But she did.

"Oh, so you love me?" He gave her a flirty smile as Ruby's eyes widened as she shook her head in disbelief.

'I'm so done with you, Black!"

Ruby chuckled as she wiped the tears.

"So, please, don't hide anything from me. Neither will I. Let it be a mutual agreement between us. I don't want you to suffer alone, Ruba. "

Ruby just hugged him as she closed her eyes when she felt him hugging her back.

"I love you," Ruby said as Sirius pecked her forehead.

"I love you more"
