I walk down the hallway, the heels of my shoes clicking confidently on the cold, smooth tile floor of Beacon Hills Middle School. I see Jackson near the lockers, and walk over to him. Just as he turns to face me, I plant my lips on his, kissing him effortlessly. He backs away from me after we've been making out for at least a minute. Looking a little confused, he asks me, "What was that for?"

"You're my boyfriend Jackson. Is it weird of me to kiss you every once in a while?"

"Any other girl, no. You, yes," he replies, smiling. I smirk at him. "What do you want Lydia?" he asks, smirking right back at me.

"Allison asked me today if I wanted to go hangout with her, Scott, Malia, and Stiles. Kind of like a group date, you know.." I start.

He cuts me off. "Lydia!" he exclaims. I sigh. Jackson is always like this. "Them? Again? Why them?" he asks, giving me an exasperated look.

"Jackson, they're actually not that bad if you get to know them!"

"Lydia. I'm the Lacrosse team captain. I drive a Porsche for a car, and pretty much every girl in this school drools at the sight of me. And you. Super popular, and I've heard tons of guys talk about wanting to see you naked, just once. And yet, you still want to hang out with a bunch of losers like them? "

"Fine," I walk away, my face turning red. I can't stand Jackson sometimes. I hear footsteps behind me, but before I start to quicken my pace, a hand grabs mine. It's Jackson. He twirls me into his arms, cradling me, and protecting me with his warmth.

"Is it really that important to you?" He looks tired. I give him a pleading look. "Alright, fine," he says, kissing me gently. I grin at him, appreciatively. He shoots me back a smile as we walk towards our next class together.
