Wednesday was in the in the hospital. And she was very confused. Why was there a dark, shadowy figure on Outreach Day? Who had kidnapped Enid? Why did she get shot? Who was the figure? Her mind was all jumbled up.
"Hey," Wednesday jumped. She hadn't noticed Tyler right beside her. "The doctors said you would have to stay here for a while. They couldn't find the bullet," he added after seeing her disappointed face. "It had turned to graphite."
"Graphite? Isn't that what pencils are made of?" Wednesday asked. " Why was there a pencil in the bullet? Who would do that?"
"I think I know."
