Skin Deep

                                                      Hayden POV 

Suddenly I wake up to beeping in a rhyme my eyelids slowly flutter open. I look around not really sure what was going on. 

I sit up. 

"Easy kid." I feel myself being pushed back down

I see Emma, 

"What happened?' I asked confused 

"Not really sure, Gold said you just collapsed suddenly," She said 

"Welcome to the world of consciousness Hayden," Dr Wale said walking in. 

I smiled 

"How are you feeling?" He asked me 

"I feel fine," I said smiling at him

He nodded looking at the tests, 

"All your blood work is normal, All s ray's are normal," He said 

Dad walked in the room, 

"How is everything normal when she just collapses?" Dad asked 

"I don't know maybe exhaustion rest and fluids is all I can suggest," He said 

Everyone in the room nodded 

It's been a few days dad has had me under constant watch today is Valentines Day, So I'm in the kitchen making dad A Valentine's card, Like I do every year.

That's when I hear the sound of glass breaking. I stop what I'm doing, And walk towards the noise. 

"Dad?" I asked walking towards the noise, 

I see Mr. Moe in the door way. 

"Mr Moe?" I asked 

"Oh Hayden didn't see you there just waiting for your dad to get home." He said 

I see in his hand he's got some sort of weapon in his hand behind his back. I go to run to the back room to call for help. only to be tackled to the ground. I kick him in the face. Only to hear him grunt. 

I scramble to my feet to run again. Next thing I know I'm hit in the back of my head and everything goes black. When I wake up I'm in the small closet underneath the stairs. 

My hands are duck taped in front of me and a pice of tape over my mouth, I pull the tape off my mouth, 

I start to throw myself at the door of the closet. 

                           Emma POV 

To say I was worried was an understatement I got a call that someone was breaking in Gold's shop, Knowing Hayden was supposed to be here, 

I had my gun drawn, 

"Hayden, It's Emma." I said looking around 

That's when I heard banging coming from a closet. 

I open the door to see Hayden. her Hands were duck taped. 

"Hey, Hey Easy it's me," I said holding her she was shaking. 

I sit her down and cut the tape off. 

"Are you hurt?" I asked 

"He- He hit me over the head," I checked the back of her head and there was a lot of blood. 

"I'm taking you to the hospital," I said 

"Come on," I said guiding her out of the shop, I put her in my car, 

"I need you to stay awake you might have a concussion," I said 

"Ok, I'm fine," She said 

"Kid your far from it, you got hit on the back of the head," I said 

she nodded and we drove off to the hospital.
