A single chime echoed out into the dimly lit room and Aizawa rose to his feet, the child hot on his heels

"Done?" she asked, peering at the second machine the teacher had placed the cape into

"All done" he assured, pulling the red fabric from the dryer, crouching down to her level. "Now it's nice and clean for you" he cooed, wrapping the cloth around her shoulders, letting the freshly warmed material enclose her body, wrapping around her like an embrace

"Nice and clean" the child hummed, pulling it close, breathing in the scent of lightly floral softener, greedily taking in the heat the cape emitted. "Lemillion be happy"

"He'll be very happy" the teacher grinned down at her, gently picking her up by the armpits and resting the red swaddled girl on his hip. "Now then should we go back to your room" he asked, smiling at the child who shoved her head into the crook of his neck

"Lemillion be there" she wondered, pushing Aizawa's hair which tickled her cheek, away

"Not right now, I still have to tell him to come"

"Aiwawa tell soon"

"Mhm" he assured, walking through the laundry room door and out to the hall. The early morning sunlight finally began to peer in through the windows as the groggy night shift nurses traded places with their fill ins who relieved them to go home

"I excited" she mumbled into his skin, peering over his shoulder at the scene behind his back, watching in curiosity as everyone held a mini laptop to their ear, probably talking to the laptop phone people on the other end she deduced

Drinking in everything lining the walls, she stared in awe at the bright circles of colour that painted the floor. Watching as children seemingly around her age, jumped in each circle, screaming something about not touching the lava, but she didn't see any lava anywhere

Where was this fiery magma Chronostasis once muttered under his breath about dunking her into. No matter where she looked she couldn't see anything that could be classified with the name lava

Were these kids delusional?

Patting the teacher's back she searched, scrutinizing each speck on the ground. "Aiwawa lava somewhere be careful okay" the child warned, maybe she just couldn't see the lava, or was it invisible lava, she didn't know, but even if these kids were delusional she didn't want to risk it. If Aizawa stepped into lava it'd probably hurt, and she didn't want Aizawa to get hurt

"I'll be careful" he chuckled, glancing at the children who she watched incredulously, these kids were either really brave or really stupid, the girl couldn't decide

Walking towards the elevator he pressed the button to call one down, tapping his foot in no specific rhythm. Though despite his mind wandering he could still hear the continuous mutter of lava next to his ear as the child lifted her head, determined to find it
