chapter twenty seven irl, insta, tiktok

iris clem and lia had just got off their 11 hour flight and had picked up their luggage from the conveyer belt, luckily every single one of their suitcases came through putting all three girls minds at ease knowing their luggage hadnt been lost
they walked through the airport to the arrivals gate to find laura and suprisingly madi, when iris and laura had communicated she hadnt said anything about madi being there but iris being iris she loved everyone so she was excited to meet madi and it was only a matter of time anyways
iris smiled with clem and lia following behind her before walking towards laura who engulfed iris in a hug, "how are you guys, how was the flight" laura asked the three girls as they all took in turns hugging laura and madi
"long and boring but were here now" clem said grinning widely excited for the next two months
"okay lets get going then" laura smiled as they all began to talk to eachother about random things whilst walking to the car
the drive from the airport was 30 minutes and suddenly the car had pulled up outside the triplets house and iris was nervous, up until she had actually got outside the house she thought she was fine, she was purely excited. now though she was still excited but the anxiety had set in and she was sat in the backseat next to clem with her hands shaking
she didnt know why she had all of a sudden felt nervous, she knew the triplets would be excited to see her, they had expressed multiple times that they wanted tour to come sooner so they could see her sooner but she was scared they wouldnt want to see her
clem had noticed the girls hands shaking a few minutes out from the triplets house but didn't comment on it knowing iris would get more anxious if she showed it to people she just met. so instead she grabbed her hand and started letting iris play with the rings clem had on her hand, something that had worked ever since iris started having anxiety attacks
once they had all started to get out of the car iris and clem stepped out and the first thing clem did was hug iris knowing she needed it in that moment
"its gonna be fine ri, im here if u need me just tell me and we can take a breather okay" clem said whispering to her still trying to not make it a big deal "i know i just got in my head ill be okay" she smiled at clem feeling less nervous than she did before
"are u ready" laura turned to iris as her and clem detached from their hug.
"yes lets go in" iris grinned feeling excited to see them
