matt was still at ri's apartment he had woken up after ri who was sat on her phone posting the announcement for her new single
"hi ri" matt said waking up, it was now 1pm but none of them cared considering they were both people who wake up later in the day. he looked at her and smiled "hi did u sleep good" she said as she put her phone down from replying to comments to look at him
"yeah i wouldve figured because its an airbnb the bed would be uncomfortable but it was good" he said softly still half asleep
iris didnt say anything but just laid back down figuring she could just reply to more comments later
she laid back in the position she woke up in before moving closer to matt who put his arms around her like he had the night before when they both fell asleep
"i gotta go and film the video later do u wanna come with me, its like a weird food combination thing" matt asked not wanting to move in that moment but knowing he would need too soon
"sure" iris replied simply before sighing as they took a minute of silence to take in the peacefulness
they chilled in iris' room for most of the day, they played mario kart which surprisingly matt won a game which made iris cheer for him jokingly, only really leaving her room to get the subway they got delivered for lunch. they got up and got ready for the day well evening considering it was now 7pm. iris was wearing a white cropped shirt with white mid rise baggy jeans and a pink checkered cardigan. As ri left matt in her room to put his shoes on she entered the kitchen grabbing a snack figuring it would hold her over until she gets to matts to eat dinner properly, figuring they would probably just order something.
she walked past the living room to go towards the front door when she saw clem sat on the sofa eating her dinner with lia watching a show on the tv "oh hey ri can u come here" clem said as she saw ri walk past. "yeah whats up" iris said smiling at clem "i just wanted to say im sorry for not being there last night i love u and i feel bad i shouldve been there" she said as she placed her bowl on the coffee table walking up to hug iris
"clem its not ur fault it happened and i feel better today, i love you so much" iris said as she squeezed the girl tight making shre her words get across so she wouldnt feel guilty
the girls separated as matt came down the hallway, "hey clem" he said as he moved to hug the girl being polite as always "hi matt" she responded just as politely "are u ready to go ri" he asked iris turning his attention away from clem and towards iris "yeah i just gotta put my shoes on" as she turned around to grab her pink converse that were sat by the front door
