I flopped onto my bed and tried to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking of Jake. I stared at the ceiling and thought about him. Suddenly, my phone lit up.
Jake
I forgot he had my number. We exchanged numbers at first because of plans but never texted. I practically jumped to get my phone and pressed on the notification.
Hi Sean!! I forgot I forgot I had your number! - 8:56 He's so cute. I can hear his smile over text, and I read it in his adorable voice.
Heyyy!! I forgot I had yours too. Lol. - 8:57
Loll!! - 8:57
Incoming call- Jake I got really excited about calling him. I answered.
"Hi!" His face appeared on screen. He was laying in bed, i assume. He has sleek dark grey sheets and pillows and had a black t-shirt on. I guess he just got out of the shower, too, because his hair was damp.
"Hey!" I reply.
Time skip-
I checked the time, 10:16
"Oh shoot, we've been on call for almost an hour!" Jake looked at the time too.
"Oh, I guess we have! We should probably go to bed."
"Okay goodnight Jake!!"
"Goodnight Sean!" He hung up. I felt bold. So, I texted him three simple numbers.
