John's POV
"Mrs Hudson?" I called out from my doorway
"Mrs Hudson" I call again "can I speak to you please?"
"Oh yes of course john dear, sorry I didn't hear you at first" replied Mrs Hudson
"Well can i talk to you in your flat please, i don't want Sherlock to hear."
"Oh what is it deary?" she inquired
"Well its Sherlock, I'm worried that now I am out more Sherlock will get lonely, so, well, i asked him if he had ever considered a partner and i heard him murmur something about 'rose'?" I questioned. "I had a sister called rose but i mean that wouldn't be her... I dont really talk about her to him" I said, this was really bugging me.
"Im sorry john i cant help you! You should go now yes?" She said in a rush, pushing me out the door.
"But-" the door was slammed in my face. "Okay then..."
Mrs Hudson's POV
I knew as soon as john mentioned Rose that i would have to end the conversation.
We promised Sherlock that we wouldn't mention her again.
(Flashback)
"none of you will EVER bring her up unless i say you can, i do not want to hear her name mentioned ever again, or be reminded of her in anyway!" Sherlock had shouted, the pain, evident in his eyes "just don't speak of her again, please..."
