Chapter 17

Sahari's POV

Mi did end up go home wid Rome , bwoii him house nice bad

Mi love it , luxurious and modern

Mi innah him bed and him deh beside me and we foot dem tangle up together , the man mean him affi ah hold on pah Mi enuh mon

Mi did tek off wah mi did have on last night and mi did have on him t-shirt and shorts .

Rome have him hand under the shirt ah hug mi wid him face innah mi neck

Ah baby dis enuh

Ah your baby dis enuh Sahari , ah deh unnuh deh yah now my subconscious spoke while smiling

" Ma you not sleeping?" He asked against my neck and I jerked because of the rush of excitement down there

Father God , do mi ah beg help mi

We eventually got up , I brushed my teeth and showered. I got dressed in his polo hoodie and his black sweat pants

Mi put on mi socks and walk downstairs trying to find him

I spotted him in the kitchen , he was wearing a white marina with blue string shorts and slippaz & socks

Real house man dis enuh

I saw him plating the breakfast , I smiled at him

Him gwaan enuh , him can gwaan man

He made bacon and eggs giving me two waffles and a cup of lemon tea

This was so delicious

" Thank you" I tipped and kissed his cheek watching as his cheeks go red

I laughed and stood between his legs hugging him

" My clothes look better on you than they do on me"

I chuckled thanking him before we started eating , I texted my mom's phone checking up on them .

She video called me and Lani popped up on the screen, she was babbling

"Ma Ma"

I smiled at her as tears pricked my eyes , she just said her first words

Rome hugged me chuckling and Lani squealed seeing him

" Say good morning Rome" I smiled at her , I don't know but Lani had taken a huge liking to him

He had bought her a Polo suit , I was shocked I didn't want him to spend that much money on her but he did

" So Sahari today ah Sunday yuh nah go home go cook ?"

Dis mi nuh like wid har now , she will literally see yuh wid somebody and den ask something wah will mek the person feel bad

I saw Rome lowered his head as the smile slowly left his face ,

" When mi ah pass mi get Milani , Bye baby girl tell Rome bye"

" Bye Lani" He said while putting on a smile for her

She waved her hand and giggled , I disconnected the call and looked over at Rome

" I'm sorry about that and if she made you feel bad" I slowly took his hand rubbing my thumb over the back of his hand

" No it's okay , but let's hurry cause Lani must miss you a lot"

He feels bad .... Mi cyah tek Angie enuh mon

We ate and he insisted that I left the dishes , I picked up my stuff and heading towards the Jeep .

The drive was silent until I stopped at my mom's gate , he parked the Jeep and unlocked the doors

" Gimme a minute" I walked outside the Jeep closing the door

" Malik get up off ah yuh game nuh" I heard mommy yell then I heard Malik

" Mommy mi do wah yuh seh already enuh and Annuh like mi ah fail school mi juss need a break"

I heard her hiss her teeth and I saw Milani on the floor with her toys

She crawled towards me , I picked her up and kissed her cheeks

I greeted my mom and walked to Malik's room , Lani giggled as we approached his door

I went in and gave him a hug , my mom has always been a bit hard on him for what I still don't know

" Mal you okay ?" I kept hugging him , and I heard him sigh

" Sai mi juss need a break she juss ah tek set pah mi" I rubbed his back hearing the sadness in his voice

I kissed his head and gently tilted his head back

" I know she might say stuff to you but I'm always here for you and you know I love you"

He broke a small smile before responding

" Love you too sis"

I grabbed Lani's stuff , and walked to the Jeep . I put her bags on the seat and passed her to Rome for him to hug her

I watched as she giggled with him , and he locked her in the car seat . I got in the passenger seat allowing Rome to drive off ,

" Thank you" I leaned over and hugged him

He helped me with the bags and Lani's car seat , we entered the house and I saw him smile  looking around 

" it's really beautiful in here"

I thanked him and put Lani down , she immediately crawled to him

He picked her up tickling her , I felt good
