Gabriella's pov I woke up to someone shaking me and I groggily opened my eyes and saw Antonio and the rest of my brothers behind him
"Go away let me fuckin sleep. I'm tired" I said exasperatedly and they laughed
"It's late bambina. Get up and come have breakfast, we have alot to talk about" Alessandro said and I groaned making no move to get up. Suddenly I felt someone lifting me up and I shrieked in fright
"What the heck! Put me down now!" I yelled as I trashed in Leo's arms.
"You're scared?. My bambina is scared" Xavier teased and I gave him a death glare which thankfully made him shut up
"Will you come down now?" Leo asked and I nodded but he pretended he didn't see me
"I promise, holy shit put me down already" I yelled and clung tighter to him so I won't fall
"Okay, okay calm down" Leo said laughing and finally put me down. My face was flushed with anger
"Aww my baby is upset, come here" Domenico said and pulled me to him, caressing my hair
"Okay let's go have breakfast but first take a shower. We'll wait for you" Antonio said and I nodded
I went into the bathroom and painfully took a shower. I think my ribs are getting worse, it looks really bad, I might need to get some pills for them. I got out and put on some clothes

I walked down and saw them all sitting at the table so I took the empty seat next to Matteo
"We have something to tell you bambina but that'll be after breakfast so let's eat" Antonio said and everyone started eating.
There was a comfortable silence hanging over us as we ate. When we finished we all went to the living room
"I know you have some questions about us so here we go" Antonio said and I nodded and added a small 'yes' when he gave me a disapproving look
"Okay this might come as a shock but Gabriella, we're...were in the mafia" He said looking at me intensely
"Yeah I know" I said and their eyes widened comically making me let out a quiet chuckle
"Wha...huh?"Alessandro said gawking at me
"Do I look like an idiot?. You think I haven't seen the guns y'all carry around, even the guards. The time those men were after me and Emilio?. You guys kinda gave yourselves out" I said nonchalantly
"So you knew all along?" Xander asked and I shook my head
"No it was just a suspicion but you guys confirmed it yesterday" I said
"Okay so how do you feel about it?" Antonio asked
"I'm okay with it. But doesn't change the fact that you lied to me" I said narrowing my eyes at them
"We didn't" Stephano said making my glare intensify
"We both know you're lying" I said coldly
"Whatever bit-" Stephano was cut off by Xander
"Shut up!" Xander growled eyes flashing with anger. He didn't need to answer for me but a part of me felt happy that he did
"We're sorry bambina. We didn't know how you'd react" Domenico said
"I forgive you just this once because luckily for you I love the mafia" I said semi serious
"Huh you like mafia?. Are you sure you're okay?" Xavier asked and Xander hit him on the head
"Well of course. Having to fight, killing bad people, using guns. It's very thrilling" I said a little to excitedly and they laughed
"Can I see your guns?. Can I have one?. Can I join?" I asked and they all stiffened
"No!" Xander yelled
"Why not?" I asked I'm confusion
"Because you're a little girl. You shouldn't be involved in this" He said and I chuckled darkly. There it was, hypocrisy
"Oh please I know everything about the mafia. And I also know that you all probably joined when you were either my age or earlier so what you yapping about!" I said in annoyance
"That's not true" he answered back with equal annoyance
"You have your doubts because I'm a girl, it has nothing to do with my age" I tell him as a matter of fact, my face blank and devoid of any emotions
"Now bambina, don't talk to your brother like that" Antonio scolded me. I clenched and unclenched my hands to prevent myself from exploding
"Then try me, we can fight right now" I challenged Xander and he rose his brows at me and finally stood up
"Don't go easy on me. I'll also show you that joining the mafia shouldn't be based on gender" I said and from my peripheral vision I saw Antonio nodding in approvement
