The Lost De'Luca

Chapter eleven

       Flash back
I had just gotten home from school and taken a shower, mom wasn't home so it meant no Luke. Thank God, he was fine at first but later on he began changing

I got down the shabby stairs and saw Luke sitting on the couch in the living room, glaring at me. I stilled momentarily, my heart rate increasing drastically. What is he doing here?

"Where is my food bitch!" He yelled and I flinched backwards

"M-mom d-didn't s-say you w-were coming" I stuttered miserably, fear gripping my heart tightly

You might ask why I didn't tell my mom about Luke's unnatural behavior, well I have never seen my mom light up the way she does when she's with Luke. She looks so happy in her own little world. I couldn't possibly spoil that for her, and Luke knows that too which is why he does it

"You filthy whore. Is that a reason not to prepare food for me?!. You piece of shit, you don't deserve anything good! Even your birth father didn't want you. I'm sure even your mother is feeling done with you!" He yelled, punching me in the jaw. I swear I heard a crack

"Please stop" I pleaded

"Pathetic bitch" he growled and banged my head on the way making me scream in pain. Tears filled my eyes instantly as I struggled to breath

"Now let's have a little fun shall we" he said huskily in my ear, making me shiver in disgust

He started tugging at my pants and forced his hand in and I shrieked in fright and tears began pouring down my eyes

"Please don't" I pleaded but he didn't listen to me. I knew exactly what was going to happen. He started taking off his pants and brought out his member. Tears fell hysterically from my eyes

"Stop it please!" I yelled in panic

Antonio's pov
To say I was shocked would by what just happened would be an understatement. As much as she tried to hide the pain in her eyes I still saw it. I hate seeing her like this knowing that I can't help her

"You two went too far. Are you fuckin crazy!" Ales yelled and advanced towards them but I held him back and shot him a warning glare

"No leave me brother. They hurt our bambina" he growled in anger, his italian accent becoming more prominent

"Ales is right Tony and I promise you that I'll deal with them myself" Nico said glaring at the two and they ducked their heads down

"You can handle them but what if she actually leaves us" Emilio said eyes showing fear

"She won't leave us, she can't leave us again-" I was cut off by a terrified scream

That was Gabriella's voice. I looked at my brothers and they looked back at me in fear. I quickly ran upstairs with everyone trailing behind me

I burst into her room and saw my bambina on her bed, trashing restlessly with her eyes closed. She's crying, she's having a nightmare

I rushed to her and held her but she only screamed louder and began hitting me. My heart ached seeing her like that

"Bambina please wake up, it's okay. It's just a nightmare" I said soothingly but she just kept screaming. She'd lose her voice if she keeps screaming like that

"Leave me please" she cried out in her sleep

"It's okay. It's not real non of it is"

"Luke p-please stop" my brothers and I froze when we heard the name she said. We were boiling in anger but our cousins and the others just looked confused

"You're alright, no one will hurt you" I said tapping her cheeks lightly and she jolted awake. Eyes wide open, looking around with fear that I didn't fail to notice. She stared at me and at everyone else and her eyes welled with tears

Her breath quickened drastically, almost laboured. Shit she's having a panic attack

"She's having a panic attack, help her!" Matteo said with tears in his eyes

Emilio quickly grabbed him and buried his face in his chest. Matteo never liked seeing any of us hurting, he just couldn't handle it

"Calm down bud she'll be fine" Emilio said soothingly while looking at him intensely

I snapped out of my daze and pulled her to me but she kept shaking, her hands clutching her hair tightly, her eyes shut tightly

"Gabriella, you're gonna be okay. Breathe for me, follow my breathing" I said, pulling her hand to my chest

"Follow my heartbeat" I instructed but she shook her head

"I-It's n-not w-working " she whimpered painfully and began clawing at her chest

"She's gonna hurt herself" Grandma said tearfully

I saw Angelo come closer and I gave him some space, he took her hands in his and started rubbing them while Leo began rubbing her back

"You're okay, can you please tell me three things you can hear?" Angelo said softly I watched intensely as she struggled to make out a sentence

"Y-you, the r-rain and m-my heart b-b-beat" she stuttered

"Good girl now three things you can see" he said as he and Leo continued rubbing her hands and back

"The wall, y-you a-and L-Leo" she breathed out

"That's it sweetheart, now three things you can smell"

"Your cologne, L-Leo's cologne and pudding" she said with creased brows  and everyone turned to Diego who had a pudding cup in his hand and he turned red

"Great you're okay" Angelo said with a warm smile and her breathing slowly normalized

"Thanks" she said slowly retracting her hands from his

"It's okay" he said and ruffled her hair. I tapped him and he got up giving me room to sit next to her. I cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears, kissing her temple

"What happened?" Grandma asked and she stiffened

"Nothing!" She snapped suddenly and I glared at her but it seemed she already realized her mistake

"I'm really sorry" she apologized and grandma smiled lovingly at her

"Tell me what Luke did to you" I said and she shook her head

"I wasn't asking Gabriella" I said sternly

"Leave me alone. It's not important" she sneered at me and I could feel my anger building drastically

"Not important? You had a fuckin panic attack!" I yelled at her

"Stop it, leave her alone. She will tell you when she's ready. All you're doing is making her hate you" Xander growled at me. He's clearly angry but I don't care, Luke did something to her and I'm going to find out no matter what

"Quiet Xander. Tell me what's going on now Gabriella" I said getting impatient. She looked up and glared at me with those grey orbs that looked exactly like mine.
