Chapter Twenty

Gabriella's pov
I woke up to hear screams all around the house. I got up hastily and saw Antonio beside me, staring at me

"What's happening?" I asked and he smiled

"Your brothers are being idiots. Tearing the house apart to find you" he said and poked my nose

"Well shouldn't you tell them that I'm here and okay?!" I asked

"Where's the fun in that?" He said with a smirk and I laughed

Suddenly his door burst open and Matteo ran in hastily, sweating like a fat pig

"Brother! we don't know where Gabriella is!" He yelled, not noticing me yet

"Matteo I'm here" I said waving my hands at him. He stared at me for a full minute and then pulled me into a hug

"Do you know how much you scared me huh?!. I thought you were gone" his voice shook and I glared at Antonio who sheepishly looked away

"I'm sorry bud, it's my fault. I should have told you guys she was in my room" Antonio said

"You think! We searched the entire house for her and you had her but didn't say anything" Matteo said, looking frustrated

"Clearly you didn't search the entire house if you skipped my room" Antonio said as a matter of fact and I fought back a laugh

"Well no one expected her to be here with you. Aren't you guys like mad at each other!" Matteo stated and Antonio looked at me

"Not anymore, we're fine now. Right bambina?" Antonio said looking expectantly at me

"Yes" I said and gave him a hug.

"I kinda liked it when you guys were mad at each other" Matteo mumbled and we stared at him

"What did you just say?" Antonio asked in a grave tone

"N-no I m-meant that I'm happy you guys are good now" he stuttered and ran out of the room making me burst out laughing

"Did you have to scare him?" I asked Antonio who was also laughing

"I was only messing with him" he said with a shrug

"I'm gonna take a shower now" I said and went to my room

I took a hot shower and got dressed in Xander's hoodie with some sweatpants

I went down to see everyone gathered at the dining table

"Good morning" I said

"Morning" they all chorused

"Is that my hoodie?" Xander asked staring at me and I let out a nervous laugh

"No" I stated and he rose a brow at me

"It is too!" He said and I sighed

"Okay fine it is" I said

"Well give it back. You can't keep wearing my clothes bambina" he said, tugging at the hood of the hoodie

"Hey leave me alone. It's my birth right" I said shoving him away from me

"You have so many brothers why do you have to always wear my clothes?" He growled at me

"Because it's comfy" I answered

"Bambina" he whined knowing he clearly wasn't gonna win

"Xander" I mimicked him and he glared at me

We heard a chuckle and turned to see everyone looking at us with smiles on their faces

"What?" We asked at the same time and glared at each other
