Belle
The next morning, I woke up to Aiden's warm arms around me. I opened my eyes to find Aiden staring at me, a small smile on his face.

"Good morning," he said, brushing a strand of hair away from my face.

"Morning," I replied, smiling back at him. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have him in my life.

We got up and made breakfast together, laughing and joking around in the kitchen. It was a perfect morning, and I almost didn't want it to end but eventually, we had to get ready for school.

As we drove to Belleville High, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. I had a new sense of confidence after standing up to Paige, and I was ready to face whatever challenges came my way.

As we walked into school, I saw Whitney and Hilton glaring at me from across the hallway. But instead of feeling intimidated, I held my head high and walked past them with confidence.

"I'm sorry your friends are being this way to you as well". I told Aiden feeling like I was the reason for their attitude.

"Oh please! They are just pussies. Can't stand up to their girlfriends". He replied brushing it all off. I could feel the sense of hurt as he spoke but I just let it go knowing they would eventually come around.

I walked down the hallways with Aiden's hand in mine, and I noticed people looking at me differently. They weren't whispering and laughing behind my back like they used to. Instead, they looked at me with a mixture of awe and respect.

I spotted Olivia waiting for me at my locker. She looked at me with a smile, and I felt a wave of relief that we were still friends. I guess Aiden noticed because he smiled and said "You go to her, I'd see you later".

I smiled back at him and with a soft kiss on my lips, he left.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Olivia asked.

"I'm feeling great, actually," I replied, grinning. "I never knew standing up for myself could feel this good."

Olivia smiled. "I'm proud of you, Belle. You showed everyone that you're not someone to mess with and put that bitch in her place."

"Right".

"You and Aiden? You too look cute together". She said giggling and I couldn't help but just blush.

We chatted for a while before heading to class. The day seemed to be going well, Aiden and I kept exchanging glances in the class.

At lunch, Aiden met me by my locker. "Hi there" he said, smiling. "Wanna go to the cafeteria with me?"

"Oh sure". I replied smiling.

We walked to the cafeteria together, and  met with Josh, Mike, Felix, Xander, and Olivia. They seemed to have been waiting for us.

"It was about time, lovebirds". Xander said , he looked like he was already tired of waiting. We both passed an apologetic smile at them.

"We'd let it go cos you two are cute!" Olivia said dancing and smiling.

We all took the regular table they do sit in for lunch and enjoyed our food as we talked about different things.

Whitney, Hilton, Tatty, Paige and Bett walked in, passing us by, they took a different table. Josh scoffed at them, irritated by their attitude and suddenly an idea popped into my head.

I got up on the table calling everyone's attention.

"Hey everyone! Can you give us all a moment of silence? Paige has something to say, rather an apology to tender". I announced catching her off guard. Yeah, she did owe me a public apology.

She got up feeling utterly humiliated as everyone whispered amongst themselves.

"Uhm... I am s-sorry". She stuttered.

Olivia couldn't help but laugh, due to the silence the laughter came out loud making a few others laugh as well.

"For what Paige?" I asked wanting to further humiliate her.

"Ruining your clothes, embarrassing you" She said.

"And for making it seem like I stole your boyfriend because you two were broken up". I added, on her behalf.

She smacked her lips, her eyes fluttering like she was going to cry and eventually, she left the cafeteria running out. Tatty and Bett followed her out while the boys shot daggers at me with their eyes but I don't care.

"That was well deserved". Mike said and I smiled.

"I don't think it was necessary though, that was more like a bully". Aiden said chewing on his fries.

I was kind of pissed by his comment because he should be on my side, not hers. She was supposed to apologize.

"Really Aiden? She deserved it!" Josh shot at Aiden.

"I know but Belle didn't need it. I just do not think it's necessary". He insisted.

Josh huffed at that while I just watched because I couldn't trust myself to speak at that moment. I didn't want to say things I'd regret.

"Just say it hurts you to watch your ex girlfriend get humiliated". Josh said.

"You should take your girlfriend's side Aiden, not that of your ex". Mike said calmly, he was the calmest of them all. He picks his words carefully and speaks in a low, calm tone.

"You guys don't get it, I just.... "

I was getting so pissed by the whole conversation, I snapped cutting Aiden off.

"We get it! Why don't you after her? Pacify her, she must be deeply hurt". I said and left the table in anger. Olivia was quick to follow behind me.

I heard Felix tell Aiden "You fucked up man". And just in the blink of an eye, my perfect day was ruined!
