The spell I'm going to teach you is called the Patronus Charm. Did you ever hear of it? No? Well A Patronus is a positive force. For the wizard who conjures one it works like a shield, with the dementor feeding on it rather than him. But in order for it to work, you need to think of a memory. Not just any memory, a very happy memory, a very powerful memory. Can you do this?"

"Very well. Close your eyes. Concentrate. Explore your past. Do you have a memory? Allow it to fill you up. Lose yourself within it. Then speak the incantation." "Expecto Patronum." "Expecto Patronum." Harry repeated, "Very good. Shall we? Wand at the ready. Here we go. Come on. Sit up. Deep breaths." he opened the crate, revealing a dementor "Expecto Patronum!" harry said, but it didnt work. he still passed out, "Riddikulus!" a familiar voice yelled, the boggart turning into a clown. "what are you doing here, pup?" Remus asked, "i cant even visit my Dad?" Astrix responded.

after a few minutes, Harry stated to regan consciousness. "It's all right. I didn't expect you to do it the first time." Remus said. "Astrix? whatcha doin' here?" Harry asked, "i cant see my two favorite Gryffindors?" Astrix responded "That would have been remarkable. Here, eat this. You'll feel better." Remus handed him a peice of chocolate, "im sorry, weren't you just flirting with another Gryffindor?" Harry asked "i was not flirting! me and Hermione was just talking." Astrix responded.

"oh? have you kissed here?" Remus interfired. "yes, yes i have kissed her." Astrix responded "kissing your bestfriend, i've been there. but As a matter of interest, what were you thinking? Which memory did you choose?" Remus asked, "The first time I rode a broom." Harry responded, "That's not good enough. Not nearly good enough." Remus added, "There's another. It's not happy, exactly. Well, it is. It's the happiest I've ever felt..." Harry replied, "..but it's complicated." He added, "well, Is it strong?" Remus asked, Harry nodded, "Then let's give it a try. You feel ready?" Remus asked once again, "you can do it Prongs." Astrix told him "just say: Expecto Patronum while focusing on that memory." she advised (ig)

Remus opened the crate once again, revealing a dementor, a real one this time. "Expecto Patronum!" he produced a silvery-white guardian from his wand, which takes the form of an Stag, remus seems quite happy at his patronus. "Yes!" he said while smiling. "Well done, Harry. Well done!" Astrix said "I think I've had enough for today." Harry replied, "Yes. Sit down. Here. Eat this, it helps. It really helps." he handed harry another peice of chocolate. "And just so you know, Harry I think you'd have given your father a run for his money. And that is saying something."

"I was thinking of him." Harry responded, "thats night in first year, right?" Astrix asked, "yeah, with Mum Seeing their faces. They were talking to me. Just talking. That's the memory I chose.mI don't even know if it's real. But it's the best I have." Harry added, "thats great! but maybe you two should head back, its getting late." Remus said.

GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM

"Astrix, i cant help but ask, whats your Patronus?" harry asked, "ironically enough, its a Lion." Astrix responded, "how much more of a gryffindor can you be?" Harry chuckled. "i dont know. maybe i'll turn into Godric Gryffindor tomorrow." Astrix responded. "oi! shut it! some people are trying to sleep!" Lavender said. "okay we'll keep quiet." Harry responded "you know she has a huge crush on ron?" Astrix asked, "finally someone who actually likes him." Harry joked.
