Elliot Pov
It's been seven months since Maureen has slipped into a coma.
I can't say everything has been completely blissful but it has been okay. Liv's pregnancy has been amazing. It's still taking time for the kids to really understand what is happening.
But what fears me out of all of this is Maureen never waking up....
"Alright Dickie, time to close your eyes." I said softly in his ear
"Night Daddy." he replied tiredly
I walked back into the living room where Liv was watching tv and eating pickles and hot sauce.
"What are we watching?" I asked
"Some fictional police show." she replied
She slowly got up and waddled over to the kitchen and replaced her pickles and hot sauce for some ice cream and freshly baked cookies from my mother.
She sat back down and put her feet on my lap.
"Comfortable?" I smirked
"Very" she smiled back
Olivia Pov
I can see the stress across Elliot's face no matter how hard he tries to hide it. I rubbed my belly as I felt the ice cream go down my throat. I didn't want to know what we were having. Being eight months pregnant is a struggle sometimes but it isn't my first round. But the funniest part of this whole pregnancy was finding out that I was having twins, the look on Elliot's face the day we found out was priceless. he looked as if he was going to pass out.
I miss being at work but I don't like Elliot's new partner Dani. She seems like bowl full of trouble.
" What are you thinking about ?" I asked
"What we have been through this past year.The good and the bad. But mostly how much stronger our marriage has become." he replied
"If I didn't have this big belly, I would come over there and kiss you." I said in awe
Elliot gently removed my feet and came over and kissed my softly on my lips.
"Let's get you three to bed" he whispered

Ring ring
"Benson" I said groggily
"Liv, I need you and Elliot down her as soon as possible. Munch should be there soon to watch the kids." Cragen said
"Alright. we're getting ready now." I replied
After I hung up I tugged on Elliot's shirt to get him to wake up.
"Elliot, we need to get down to the precinct." I said
"I'm getting up." he croaked
He rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom.
*******Fifteen minutes later *********
I was brushing my hair when I heard the knock on the door. I wobbled to the door and looked through the peephole to see Munch standing there.
I opened the door.
"Hello Sir Munch" u smiled
"Hello Madam Stabler" he curtsied
Elliot was coming down the stairs with my bag and jacket.
"Hey Munch" he said
"Mosur Stabler" he smiled
"The kids should be up in about an hour, so you're good for now. " I said
Munch sat on the couch, then Elliot guided me outside to the Suv. we arrived at the precinct ten minutes later.
"Hey El" Dani smiled
"Danielle" he said simply
Since she is temporarily taking my place she has my old desk across from Elliot.
"Olivia and Elliot I want you both to take the lead on this case. I know you're on maternity leave Liv, but this is one your old cases." Cragen said
"Yes sir" i said
"Hey um Elliot, can I talk to you privately?" Dani asked
"Sure" he replied
I watched them walk to the locker room.
